It would be but Big Sam is no guarantee we would be in the situation any way. Big Sam career win percentage 39.60%, MoN career win percentage 51.32%. By the logic you're putting forward we should still have MoN and we would be flying.

He wouldn't be my first choice, not that I given it much thought.

Anyway it's rude, both clubs still have their manager.

Just like you I don't care about the style because its all about winning. I rather take Sam because he can win games in different ways. Poyet can not.

My opinion is you wouldn't of went down with Sam.

Certain papers are quoting Poyet to West Ham, could do a straight swap!

I've been banging this drum for a while - however disrespectful it is that both him and poyet are in employment.

He plays effective hard football. Teams don't like playing against allardyce teams.

He played for us. Don't think he was a fan though.

Not sure he'd fare much better.

    That being?

I can think of plenty of things that could finish that sentence.

They have put 2 and 2 together and made 12 here. I know for a fact West Ham were sniffing round Gus in the summer as someone I do business with is on the board at West Ham. Apparently they offered Gus a deal but he said he wanted to stay with us. I also know Short likes Gus but is just dissolusioned with the current situation at the club. I am away working with a guy who knows Short from in the 2nd week in March so I will ask him if he knows anything then and report back. He is careful what he tells me though so don't expect any big revelations.
