I can't understand how people can think we were poor today. This forward obsession needs to stop. The groaning at every sideways pass is a hindrance to the team.

The idea that we should just be able to take a team to the cleaners because they are down to 10 men is questionable at the best of times, but when it's a game between two sides who are battling for their top flight survival, it just becomes a nonsense.

We'll be seeing a few more of these games yet; to be quite honest, I don't give a **** how we play, as long as we get enough points to stay up.

The kid next to me got a paddlin' today. "FORWARD" he kept shouting at 1-0 up. "FORWARD, FORWARD, GO FORWARD! CITYTILLIDIE! STEVE BRUCE! FORWARD! FORWARD!"

I couldn't help myself. I literally told him to shut the **** up. "It's all sideways passing, we need to be getting into the final third." I then proceeded to explain what possession football was in less than ten words. Beautifully, McShane hoofed it long as I was making my point, giving possession to QPR and showing why going FORWARD isn't the only option. So smug my cheeks tore from smiling so much.

Shouting forward everytime we get possesion? That's a paddlin'.

Entering at S3 when your seat is actually closer to S4 and making me stand up ten times a match as you inch across, occasionally stopping next to me to speak to somebody behind me, waiting for me to sit down and then asking me to stand up again? That's a paddlin'.

Using the paddle to paddle the Hull City canoe? Oh you better believe that's a paddlin'.

Not at all. Your hysterical pants pissing is straw clutching. And hypocritical.

Have the last word Polly, you're so thick baiting you is less of an amusement and more of a guilt trip these days.

Since Phelan has come in the movement from corners free kicks and even throw ins has been a lot better.
Thats simple stuff for this level but it makes a massive difference.

I think you're looking for something that isn't there.

Set pieces were as **** as ever yesterday.

Both Thudd's and Brady's corners and free-kicks leave a lot to be desired. Now, although I admit to a profound 'wowness' about Gaston's abilities, I think, from what I've seen, that he is far better at both those plays.

If you look at the n'doye goal it proves how good a striker he is! Green makes a great save and as Soon as the ball comes back in n'doye is there again to stick it in when Hernandez is slow to get into position! I know they can't both make the same runs but if you look at it again n'doye was always gonna get on the end of another cross! That's the sign of quality!

It shows a real confidence plus a killer instinct and he did exactly the same thing against Villa the only difference was that it was an 11 second gap instead of a half a second gap.

Winning football matches is the only thing that'll keep us up. A wins a win, so how we achieve that isn't important.

Playing well comes with confidence which will return if we win a few matches on the trot.

He seems to do those low front post ones which are easily cleared quite often. We do that so much that I think it must be some kind of tactic but god knows.
