Who do you think will get brain damage first.I am looking after someone with irreversible brain damage and fed up to fick with middle class tos!sers like OND bigging up the idea of working class lads being punched really hard on the head by really strong men.Nearly all of them will be totally lost souls when the tossers who bought the tickets are snug and warm with their grandkids.
As they're sharing a $150m equalling $75m each minimum. I think that they think, that , that much cash will fix a damaged & broken & lost body & soul. I. Know I could find myself or even a NEW me with money.
damaged and broken soul?? it's just another 75m to mayweathers incredible fortune. . that much for a fight. boxing is **** boxings ****ing ****e
I can't see pass Mayweather. His defence is stunning and just doesn't get hit. As great as Mayweather is he has a habit of fighting opponents when there past there prime.
Agreed. This would have been a much closer fight 5 years ago IMHO which is probably why it didn't happen. They're both past their best but Pac-Man much more so.
Funny you should say that because I've just been out for a run and was listening to the Weekend breakfast on TalkSport through my phone and they gave the $150/$80m split and I thought oh that's what Patty said this morning.
It's a shame it's taken so long to get this sorted, it had the potential to be one of the best fights ever, but as others have said, they are both past their prime. It should still be a great watch though, my money's on Mayweather.
Mayweather on points for me Years later than it should have happened but still should be worth watching
Interesting piece - the writer claims Mayweather is "everything that’s wrong with sport and celebrity in the 21st century". I agree wholeheartedly. I'd LUV it if Pacquiao beat him, but don't see it happening. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/men/thin...ing-thats-wrong-with-sport-and-celebrity.html
I hope Pacquiao smashes him all over the ring. Beats the wife beater to a pulp. I don't like Mayweather at all.
Regardless of Mayweathers personal life he is a very, very good fighter with a very good professional team of strategists behind him. I like Pacquiao and the way he fights but he came a cropper a couple of fights back when he went down, face first, like he'd run into a telephone pole. Mayweathers advisers will have studied that knock-out a thousand times and will be working on that as well as any other 'chinks' in Pacquiao's Armour. I think Mayweather will be too strong.
Unfortunately, professional boxing isn't about morality; it's about who hits hardest for longest while staying on his feet. On that score, it will be Merryweather inside the distance for me.
