    I wouldn't mind a game of 3 1/2 hours. Would make it more interesting for the neutrals.

    You do know that you can drink alcohol in Qatar, I believe you have to hold a permit which is given out to the expats that live there via their companies. I don't know how they plan to get around it for visitors though, all though when I was there I was drinking when I went to watch David Guetta in some hotel forgot the name.

    And I'm sure I saw something on SSN yesterday where FIFA had denied that story, I could be lying though I'm not sure most of it was coverage of Gervinho having a medical at Arsenal (the ****)!

    Not read the comments, but that would kill the game.

    If it has to resort to this, then Qatar was a horrific choice.

    It's like saying if a team only had 10 men in a squad then they'll change the rules so you only have to play with 10 men. Ridiculous.

    Changing the fundamental nature of the game they are willing to do, use a small bit of goal line technology and using a few replays to help referees make decisions still seems beyond them

    Yes but that would kill the spirit of the game! If refs were given a second opinion in vital decisions then what next, equality amongst all clubs?! <yikes>

    No thank you! Give me refrigerated, 30 minute, £1000 ticket, astroturf, highest-bidder wins football like they had in the good old days when men were men and the working class were priced out of the game!
