From that list, definately Jimmy Page. Led Zeppelin in general have inspired a great many bands and Jimmy Page played a massive part in that.
Not saying this best but on this performance Prince is certainly impressive, didn't know he could play guitar like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifp_SVrlurY
The most influential are clearly either Robert Johnson, Chuck Berry, BB King or Hendrix. No one has had more influence on guitarists and music as a whole as these guys. Maybe not technically the best... but all were original innovators of the art in there own separate styles.
on the right track mate , chuck berry , definately ; but Id also look more at muddy waters....electrified the blues really making it more accessible to a wider audience ( no blues=no rock and roll ) , or hubert sumlin from howling wolfs band..they then influenced so many others , but , really , its a never ending thread.....jimmy page ? well , does he really belong on there ? he tweaked some standard blues riffs and lifted a whole lotta folk stuff from bert jansch and john renbourne...but then , who had those guys lifted it from before....the way this is going it might turn out Im the most influential guitarist of all time but I dont know it yet
Glad Page is top. Hendrix should be on there though. Yes he is popular, but he has influenced millions past and present. Jeff Beck? Toni Iommi especialy should be there.
