He means the 443 we played with last season and most of this season, the one that was supposed to step up into a 343 but you you said ended up stepping back into a 451 because he hasn't had the balls to attack.
Agree Agree with your point about subs. The ones that aren't forced are usually like for like with little effect.
Gee, thanks for putting me right! When I said 4-1-4-1 that's what I meant. The usual formation for Gus is this where he has deep lying CM with 2 central in front, either Gomez or Rodders with Larson. He adds a wide right with a CF wide left who should act as CF when attacking or left wing back when we haven't got the ball. That's the role he played Fabio in last season and Connor this. We've seen it can be effective but only if the players put the required graft in!
