The players were poor as well, too easily bullied, we were not up for a fight and you have to say they where. The game was still in the balance at half time but we did not have a game changer on the bench, I think Gus was up against it with nowhere to turn. This side is no pushover and its a shame they did not draw another top side at home as it would be interesting to see how anybody could cope with that pitch without plenty of practice in similar conditions.

His lack of adaptation has been alarming me for ages mate. He's changed it recently which should be a good thing but he's been completely done in half the games his been trying different things. We'll see what he does at the weekend then we'll have more to go off. Never seen tactical naivety from any premier league boss like the first half against QPR.

I read it somewhere about Brighton having one of the biggest budgets in the league at the Time when poyet was there.

He failed in my eyes and Thats why I didn't want from day one.

It's funny because last season I wanted him sack after the spurs game and I got slag off for it. I even said big Sam to replace him LOL how times have change.

Plus his subs and tactics are all over the place. I be here all day discussion it pal.

They didn`t do too badly at Chelsea either.

Bradford are no mugs but the big difference is their players are giving it everything they`ve got. Every time. It`s a pity we can`t say the same.

I admit I gave up on the 'miracle' after the Spurs game, but was happy to stick with Gus given the squad he inherited; I don't think chopping and changing does much good either - however, my patience is wearing thin now.

That said, I am willing to give him and Conga another window to sort it out ( assuming that we pick up some form and survive the drop ).

Because people are generally decent and reasonable and will give Manager's time. Easy to say straight away he's **** then claiming some kind personal victory at being right, which lets face it, is the absolute depth of your personality. I mean playing the odds isn't exactly hard with our track record of recruitment. So well done on being right, I was busy supporting my team. <ok>

He hasn't got the ability to change pal. Even fat Sam has more ability than him.

I went off what he did at Brighton, the money he spent and the boring style of play. Plus I was right again about Bridcock, Gomez and buckteeth. Why give managers and players time when you no they are ****. I do watch other football than just sunderland.

I don't agree with that - he has tried various formations, and come close to it 'clicking' at points. This alone shows that he has the capacity for change.

Overall, I think the senior players are letting him down. However, he needs to shut his mouth, especially when aiming any kind of criticism at the fans, and get on with things.

I wouldn't have sacked Paolo either but what does any of that matter, we're here. Pissing and moaning about the past, what's more, claiming it as a personal victory in our plight means **** all to me fella. Our situation here and now is all that matters to me. Enjoy the past and winning in your one man 'who's right and who's wrong' competition.<ok>

Big Sam is an easy shout at this moment, but you have to take into account the cost of him and his very large backroom team, which I have read is the largest in the premiership. Also no manager is guaranteed to succeed, and although I am no fan of Gus, he is not as bad as some people are making out. The three players you mention cost very little and are in as cover for our first eleven, the fact that we have had to depend on them so much has been unavoidable and until this weeks events, we were just about on par with where I thought we would be having taken the fixture list imbalance into account.

I think fat Sam will be a perfect fit. I tell you now we won't be in anymore dog fights.

The 3 players didn't cost much but its better players out there.

Why buy Buckley when we had the Greece lad? Pointless sorry.

Well he started with 4-1-4-1 with wide left coming in to centre to support lone striker when attacking. He's tried 3-5-2 with Defoe's arrival and the overlapping 'wing backs' and he's also tried straight 4-4-2 with 2 variations - traditional against Bradford I think ( though I couldn't get tickets so didn't see it first hand ) and Palace was really strange where we seemed to line up 4-4-2 but had 3 central and no-one left - I don't know whether that was the plan or just Gomez or Fletcher not doing the cover on the left - and if that was the case why he didn't change it by either making a sub or bollocking the culprit at half time is beyond me.
