Anyone who backed the double of Paint The Clouds to win today and at Cheltenham at 14/1.

I've had a trader from Betfair contact me saying that what I was told by their support was incorrect and the bet shouldn't be allowed.

They have introduced a special of him to win today and at Cheltenham of 10/1 which can be placed at the link below.

    https://www.betfair.com/sport/horse-racing/antepost?marketId=924.21881916

I think everyone who did the 14/1 bet will have it voided.

    Good afternoon guys and gals!!

3:55 Don - PRINCE OF PIRATES 40/1 eway

Huge leap of faith required to back this one having ran poorly on its last 3 starts. Last won just over 2 years ago (3m handicap chase) off a mark 22lb higher than his hurdle rating today. At the age of 10 is the oldest in this field and could just simply be on the decline. Having said that, he's on such an attractive mark based on past exploits I think he's worth an eway poke.

This is the horse who beat both Bobs Worth and Captain Chris on debut 5 years ago. Not that it matters much in the context of today's race, an interesting bit of trivia nonetheless.

Good luck with Squire lads and anyone else having a punt!!

Put €35 each way on it only cause I followed it harder the last time - will have to keep backing until it wins

    Timeform 1-2-3
    1. Squire * * * * *
    2. Brave Decision * * * *
    3. Golden Jubilee (USA) * * * *
    Timeform View
SQUIRE built on his maiden form despite not seen to best effect when well backed on handicap bow at Lingfield earlier this month and looks a big player dropped 1 lb, especially with further improvement forthcoming. Brave Decision should continue to run well and is feared most, ahead of Golden Jubilee.

    Good Luck tonight Chap's <ok>

Thanks chaps. He will need a good break. If he does I would think he will go close.

Good luck with Squire, looks a deep enough race for the grade to be trying in.

Good luck today chaps. I hope you boys get the win.

I hope there's a lot left to work on for Paint the Clouds because a performance like that in March will not be good enough.

Happy but not ecstatic with Paint The Clouds. I'm sure they left plenty of him to work with to get him spot on for Cheltenham but not totally flawless.

He'll definitely need to improve to win at Cheltenham.

"Always towards rear, tailed off before 4 out."

That's the fourth lifeless display this season for POP so probably time to call it a day.

Looked like a very good prep run to me giving away a lot of weight after a long break and will come on a lot for that

    Bold Optimist 14/1 scrapes in

The money was down last time and he jinked and unseated on the level, horse who beat Felix Yonger first time out in a bumper and Gordon Elliot had this to say about him "Bold Optimist is still a big baby and hadn't worked beyond 12 furlongs yet although he never came off the bridle! He looks a proper horse"

I wont be tipping him next time at single figures but he could be one to win a few more from such a low mark.

To echo's Bob's comments from yesterday Adam Kirby is different class on the AW. His rides on Little Palaver & Austin Friars today were superb

Best of luck with Squire tonight fellas, he might have a better chance coz I haven't lumbered him with my money! I've had a small EW on one at a big price The Gay Cavalier 25/1 seems too big a price to ignore and if on a going day is well worth a punt
