Didn't need to send Featherstone off imo, unless of course it was a deliberate action. Thought Clappison's goal bound header had crossed the line. To be fair he an the rest of the defense where outstanding tonight, the ball just kept coming back to them to have to deal with time and time again.

I had a great time. Stood next to Pearson. He's a really nice guy. Started to chat and didn't mind at all talking shop with me. Then, for some unknown reason, he told me that he can handle himself and, as if to prove it, put his hand around my throat. Weird. Anyway, didn't ruin what was a great win. They all played well, trialist #6 in particular.

Edit: Oh, and for some reason, Hartlepool had the late Michael Clark Duncan on trial (no sign of Mr Jingles) and he had a shot saved early on.

 

I was going to say they had John Cofie from the green mile playing, wasn't it Mr Bojangles?

Also Sam Collins, is that the same one as used to play for us at centre back? Or am I getting confused with someone else?
