Considering my costs of changing my return flight for 2 people, the extra nights hotel, food, car rental and other out of pocket expenses that is the sum total of my visit to Wembley. The cheapest cost involved is the price of the ticket which surprised me. That is the cost of my commitment and is it worth it? Every single penny in my books.
must be a big price for the airline ticket! hotel £40 a night, car rental £40 2 days food £40 in Subway night in the pub n grub £70.. ticket for the match and bits £100
Not far wrong there jgf2! I might have been a bit extravagant on my pricing but the ticket change was 800 pounds - oops.
Have a great trip, Mike! I'm still trying to decide whether I can afford to come over or not from Chicago - having been over here for 2 1/2 years and only having been able to get low paying part-time work (tough emigrating and then finding work in your 50's) means my savings have been decimated, and I do need to keep back some money for family emergencies. Also having to wait and see how many tix are available when Priority 2 go on sale next week. I hope I'll be there at Wembley too, I have been watching City since 67/68, and going to matches until I moved here in 2012, so it hurts to think of maybe missing a rare Wembley appearance.
For me: 2 x £60 for tickets 2 Night in Hotel £350 Dinner at a restaurant in Covent Garden on Saturday night £100+ Pints of gloat on Sunday Night - £50 Train Tickets - 2 x £55 So well over £600 so far This will only be a good day out if we win - so COYR
