    As a fan I am irreplaceable, when I am gone, I am gone. Someone else will have my seat of course, so that is not all gloom and doom.

    The point is stability. If a single individual leaves we're not in trouble. We have plans, back-up plans and a long-term vision; we don't run about like headless chickens appointing whoever pops their head round the door-frame next. Instead have a system in place to find the right candidate for the job. That's not a statement which can be applied to every football club.
