    The butter won't melt. Toast has to be warm enough to partially melt the butter. Not all of it mind.

    Steak should only be eaten rare. The rarer the better. Only massive ****s eat their steak cooked any more than rare.

    Toast is only any good if there are two of them and in between there is Bacon eggs mushrooms, big black ones and a dose of black pepper.

    Do people change the setting on their toaster based on the type of bread they are using?

    I tend to turn my dial to around 2.5 mins for brown and even less for granary.

    These numbers can also vary depending the thickness of the bread.
