Inevitably there is a great deal of negativity on the forum at the moment, and understandably so. Once again we find our support beginning to divide into "manager in/manager out" factions, and it's never a comfortable time to be a fan when people are turning on each other over their differing opinions.

However, on a more positive note I thought I'd mention how outstanding our away support was yesterday. The lads and lasses who went down were a credit to the club. We sang our hearts out even at 2-0 down, applauded Jon Stead and Billy Knott, and stayed behind after the final whistle to applaud the Bradford players and fans. They made me proud to be from the North East, certainly more so than the tw*ts on the pitch. Massive respect to everyone else who traveled. <ale>

Our travelling support is superb...And what boiled my piss was that the media only seem to have picked up on our fans down there calling for Poyet to be sacked and none of this positive stuff....
As for falling out with anyone over this, I respect the fact that others see the world different to me and would never get angry over comments on the internet regarding this..
To put things into perspective, we lost a football game in the same weekend some West Ham fans lost their lives travelling to games and 21 Egyptians lost their heads just for being Christians..

Spot on mate, some things are more important than football. My mate and I had a cracking day out drinking and laughing with the best fans in the world. When you look at what happened to the Hammers fans, those people in Egypt, or even closer to home those Newcastle lads who lost their lives in the plane crash, it just puts everything into perspective. It's been sad to read some of the comments on social media about the manager, from both sides of the debate, with some people even calling each other out for fights over it. They need to take a long, hard look in the mirror.

In terms the media, I couldn't agree more. They never hesitate to have a pop at us anyway, and they probably wish our Premier League spot was occupied by a Fulham or Wigan so they could have a "loveable underdog" to wax lyrical over. Don't care what they say about us though, we know how loyal and passionate our fans are, and that's enough for me.

On this board it is usually only one ore two who get abusive or come out with the daft threats, and I can certainly usually distinguish the ones that are alcohol related from the ones that are daft knackers that only seem to post when things go tits up..

Our entire away support did all they could to give themselves a platform to strike back at Gus' dirty little blame game tactic.

It's always our fault, it's always our fault, Gus Poyet it's always our fault.

I'm behind our right to do that. We gave the ref our opinion to as well showing appreciation to ex players and the fantastic home supporters. We did ourselves proud in giving our opinion. Which is our right.

There will still be 40000+ there imo, me inc.
A win will help start rebuilding bridges but once you turn on the fans AND the media your on a downward slope from which I believe there will be no escape. I hope I'm wrong and we win a few to ease the pressure but let's wait n see.

A dear friend of mine who is an avid bradford city fan and who was giving me some stick after the game posted the following on my facebook page after i had congratulated him and wished him and his team all the best. Thanks charlie your 4500 fans were magnificent in their appreciation of bradfords performance. They are a credit to safc. Loads of likes and comments later agreeing with his comment just goes to show our high standing in the footballing community

I know mate, it's going to be a damn difficult game and I fear West Brom could tear us to pieces after what they did against West Ham. The crowd will need to back the team despite their (justified) reservations about the manager, and hope that the players respond, like they do once in a blue moon.

As woeful as we currently we are no way as bad as the performance West Ham put in against WBA. WBA looked good cos WHU were f*cking sh*te.

The support at Bradford was way better than the team deserved after the QPR shambles.

We were well behaved all over town, joined in with the banter in the streets & were excellent in the ground.

Going a goal down early & playing like we didn't care gradually sapped the enthusiasm from the supporters.

There isn't a group of supporters on the planet who'd have done better.

Absolutely hit the nail on the head mate. There has to be a reciprocal relationship between the team and supporters. As you say, no set of fans in the world would be able to carry on singing, constantly and loudly for literally the entire game, when the players are giving them absolutely nothing to shout about.

I've seen us carrying on singing when we were 5-0 down or creating a record low points tally.

But Sunday came after an entire season of boredom followed by the manager criticising the supporters.

A lot of people, like me, are sick of putting in more effort than the players.

What has been the most exciting moment of the season at the SOL ......... scraping a win over Burnley <doh>

Very true, sometimes I think that in those truly hopeless situations it's easier to sing than it is when there's still a vague chance of coming back to win, however unlikely it may seem. 2-0 deficits can be undone in five minutes, it's happened countless times. But the notion that the fans should be 100% responsible for creating atmosphere is totally flawed, there has to be a cooperation to some degree.

The 'atmosphere' created by Chelsea & Man City is virtually zero, the loudest thing at Liverpool is Gerry & the Pacemakers, the Arsenal supporters boo Wenger & West Ham spent months booing Allardyce. Newcastle had every protest known to man ........... yet they're all doing better than us.

We groaned a few times, as we lost at home to QPR, and we're ****ing poison according to the manager.
