And that destination is Valley Parade.

I have lost all faith in Poyet and his excuses. He is constantly playing the wrong tactics and does not know what to do during matches.

I am not for wanting managers out and would like every manager to have time. However I cannot see what Poyet has to offer now, and based on performances all season we will get relegated.

Hopefully Mr Short see's what we see as fans, and realises that Poyet and Sunderland are just not working. We haven't worked since the beginning when he winged about the board and his power with the board.

This is not an over reaction, this is based on the season in general.

I don't think we'll sack him and don't want us to either.

I do have a feeling he will walk before our next game though...

Yeah I have a feeling too. He strikes me as a coward.....

But I want to make it clear I want him to succeed but he clearly has lost the plot.

Can't blame anyone for wanting him gone now. I'm torn, I'd like him to keep us up and then be replaced at the end of the season ideally.

I don't want him here next season but I'd prefer us to not have to resort to a panic replacement again.

Don't like him or his football and will be happy when he does leave mind.

The thing is I don't think he can keep us up..

Villa, QPR, West Brom, Palace all have new managers. I don't like panic replacements, but we need someone in with tactical sense before it gets worse.

At present I can see the bottom three being out of us, Leicester, Burnley and Hull.

I can't argue with this mate. He's showing us **** all to suggest he knows anything about the management game.

As much as I am sick of a new manager, new plan etc etc etc

Even I must admit my faith is starting to slip with him, so I can understand why some people are saying Poyet Out

The style of football he is trying to play is admirable, however the players we have haven't adapted to it, generally due to being a team lacking pace or work ethic
Lacked a work ethic since the Keane days imo

Realistically I can imagine Short is looking at potential replacements already

At the moment I wouldn't really say there is any managers available who would take my fancy, Sherwood might have possibly but not anymore. Therefore your looking at having to pay a club compensation. One such manager who I believe is out of contract in summer is Big Sam...

H e won't walk, he's been slyly speaking out to try and get fired and his compensation for months.

He's picked the wrong side for 80% of games this season, he's alienated players, and he has literally no understanding of what football means to folk in the North East.

I'd love him to walk, but either way he's had his 9 lives, we are utterly pathetic under this cowardly prick.

The more I think about this the more I think he needs to go, sooner rather than later.

Maybe look at Klinsmann if Short can use his yank pull.

Before we all start baying for blood we need to first look see who's out there.

I don't see any quality replacements to come and save the day to be honest.

I think this is Gus's last stand, His tactics are all wrong, I think the Bradford manager must have seen the QPR game on Tuesday and seen how slowly we start, anyone who starts quick against Sunderland will beat us, I also think he may have lost the dressing room and if so there's no way back, having said all this I don't think most of the players are good enough and certainly haven't improved from last season.

Was the him being booed at the end by the fans??

I wonder what excuses he will come up with in his interview...bad pitch? Poor refereeing? The blame is on him!

it is not just that we are being beaten by a team two leagues below us (all credit to Bradford),it is the fact that we have almost totally been outplayed by them for most of this match.
I wonder who Mr Poyet will blame for this (cant wait to hear his post match interview).I am with 83 on this and feel he will walk!

If he does, where do we go from here?who is out there we could turn to (if indeed such a senario comes about).
I am so deflated by this latest setback but pray that we can recover and quick.

Depends on how Ellis views the new Sky deal..with that kind of money on offer next season, will he risk Poyet to keep us up. Somehow I doubt it.

WTF was that !! I thought Tuesday night was bad enough,........ but that was THE most abject performance I have seen a a long time. No desire, no belief, no ball control, and Bradford City (who pretty much dictated and controlled the entire match) fully deserve their place in the next round.

Thanks Gus, but we are getting worse the more you "coach" them !! Add to that 2x defensive substitutions on 85 mins !!!!! What a joke, and all those travelling fans should be fully compensated for gambling their hard earned on your (lack of) tactical nouse. As it stands and unless something changes, I fully expect SAFC to be filling the 3rd relegation spot after LCFC and BFC.

Time for change (yet again)...... ??????????

I agree he is not solely to blame, a lack of effort from the players is most worrying

However as the coach/manager surely it his job to get the players playing together to a set formation/tactics so that they can succeed and win games?

Also to motivate them and instill confidence in them before and during a game?

He can't come back from this. Its perhaps best he goes before the West Brom game as things will get nasty.

He didn't have the team up for it in my eyes so I'd suggest it was his man management to blame.

The team itself and the tactics used should have been enough to beat Bradford. They played pretty well and we didn't look like we wanted to win.
