Red Bull concerned over RB11 failing first crash test

Yesterday, TJ13 revealed that the RB11 crash tests were still not complete for the RB11. The news from the crash test performed yesterday is that the latest RB11 nose failed its test.

More noses each with incremental strength are lined up for testing imminently.

TJ13 believes that the new Red Bull nose is relatively short compared to others revealed to date and has a small bulb which helps manage the airflow wake. It is area of the nose which is failing at present.

Rob Marshall has seemingly been held responsible. He also carried the can for both cars being disqualified following qualifying in Abu Dhabi – due to rubber control systems in the front wing which allowed them to deflect illegally under load.

In years gone by – before parc ferme rules came into force – mechanics regularly worked what was known as ‘all-nighters’. This of course is now forbidden during race weekends due to new regulations.

However, the midnight oil will be burning this weekend in Milton Keynes as the team are under pressure to produce components for testing n Jerez.

So, I've just got round to reading about the rape of the Peraltada corner.

How long before they cite some safety bullshit and do that to the Parabolica?

According to Autosport, Force India's car has been delayed again - set to miss the second test. Not looking good.

Not sure how well they'd make 107% but silver linings and all....

A few suggesting Honda are getting involved to use them as a work horse, which makes sense.

Marussia/Manor's administrators will announce today that the team will come out of administration on February 19. Investment on the way.

Seems astonishing that Marussia might actually race this season after all.

That would be great. OK they are slow but the team spirit seems amazing. Hope some of them get their jobs back.

Ferrari is back to talk about himself. The SF15-T shown in Jerez perturb the fans in bars, but also specialists in the paddock. The car that bears the signature of Simone Remains, at least for the time being, there showed nothing revolutionary, but seems to have corrected the errors (serious) that were committed on F14 T, a car certainly courageous for some risky project choices, but with limitations that have made her numb to any changes being proposed.

    RAIKKONEN, A LITTLE ... ICEMAN

Go up from the bottom is easier than coming back to fight for the World Championship. But the Maranello team, especially in the latter part of the 2014 season, the worst in the history of Cavallino by 1993, fell from the podium (taken a few times) to defend the points from teams that do not have the status of top teams. A slump in which there is a place that at one point looked like a free fall. Perhaps it will also be served to get rid of inconvenient Fernando Alonso. The pilot who acted as Chief-team, without it. But had conquered nearly the same power, without having to bear the choices and responsibilities. A dangerous "alien" pilot that was above reproach. Perfect. Able to take advantage of the 102% of disappointing F14 T, shaming the egos of Kimi Raikkonen, the Iceman which has melted like snow in the Sun. Head over that of ... the foot, revealing that the Iceman is sewn upon it more to be a tone that to plastic representation of a character far from impervious to pressure. The façade, in fact, does not correspond to the substance.

    ALONSO ILL-ADVISED BY BRIATORE

The Spaniard, then, was (mal) recommended by Flavio Briatore: went to battle hard, tough, with Marco Mattiacci, convinced to snatch from face to face with the inexperienced team principal romano an extension contract with lots of extra money, if only to pay at least the bitter morsels from having to digest. And, on the other hand, Fernando is not due to arrive to insults (which then are flaking from his mouth in a Rossini crescendo) to feel ... out of (to put it to Flavio) from a team that believed to control. He saw drawings of SF15 –t and judged inappropriate for aiming high. Too equal to ciofeca of 2014. He had no hopes. He missed the move on the chessboard and ended up in the purgatory of McLaren, only even saving a pride that has been trampled.

'Cause the BEST DRIVER in the WORLD DOES NOT CLIMB on f. 1 better?

Because the best driver in the world can't climb on the car more competitive? Juan Manuel Fangio could choose from year to year the winning car and not making any passing team, while Alonso does not dictate the conditions (as he likes to make believe) but suffers. Too bad, because when it is in the cabin (except in the qualifying round) sa reason as the best driver and the best track engineer put together. With a clarity of thought that is seen only in ACEs who have won more titles than he. Gladden The Honda engine is very rough, but the project is far. Will be competitive, but when? The Japanese, perhaps, have wrong time to get into the Circus: they have two years to win, before the new rules change. A period too short. The 2015 will serve to problem solving (and in Jerez have seen many for a delay on the schedule that is rated by nearly six months!), while the 2016 to be the miraculous year of relaunching McLaren-Honda.

FERNANDO WILL ACCEPT TO SEE A FERRARI BEFORE?

Fernando will wait? Accept it calmly to stand behind the Ferrari of a relaunched Sebastian Vettel? Speak the facts. The Red goes to Barcelona in search of confirmation, after which have expressed positive opinions is the four-time German world champion, Kimi Raikkonen is refreshed. The track was confirmed by data from the Simulator and a wind tunnel. This is a historical fact in the Chronicle (recent) in Maranello. The development of the machine will not be affected by disability in recent years, when the correlations were not ever data (whereby expectations changes studied in the wind tunnel already were rejected in the first round of the Gp free practice where Coupé!).

THE SILVER ARROWS WERE HIDDEN IN JEREZ

The Mercedes in Jerez you is hidden with the W06 Hybrid: Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg have added nearly eight Gp in four days and not have banked at the time, trying to solve those problems that have made it vulnerable to the silver arrows last year, but the growth of Ferrari is undeniable.
