Should have won by 3 or 4 yesterday, millwall had all the luck and that kept the score down.dont let millwalls shots decieve you most were from the half way line and nearer the corner flag than the net,I dont think Silvestri will have had an easier game all season.

PS A little note for a few on here, the stats now say we have a better team than last season.<whistle>

Morning all. A win's a win. Now we need something against 'Boro. As for why Austin played & not Sloth, I think was horses for courses. Sloth is developing, but is not going to give us the same power & box to box running that Austin does.

Maybe Sloth will start against 'Boro. As we'll need a bit of class, maybe Adrian will play as well. Either way, a good result in the 'Wall's cup final

    Whites,

I remember when Cruyff once said "when Leeds have the ball, they make you dance". One of the best compliments I heard from a foreign player, and a world class one too....:emoticon-0148-yes:

Many decades ago and he was one of the greatest ever. We had world class players then. Along came Sky and Bosman to **** the whole thing

The way we've gone so far this season, we wasted time with Hockmadoodlegandi. We then wasted a bit of time with Milanic. Redders then wasted some time working out a system that fitted for us. Now we have a system that works with around 16 or 17 players that best fit in with that system.

All through this, we've had a crop of academy players that are slowly but surely getting better. Don't think we'll make top 6 this season, but I think we'll be a very good bet for autos next season. Keep the faith one and all. MOT

I agree totally Boggers but suspect our optimism will soon be dashed when a few of the regulars surface <doh>

    Not me, not today.
Given the ****e we have endured this season I am more than happy to be safe in mid table.
Hopefully Cellino can now get his money back on buying the club and leave us whilst he goes to fight his upcoming jail sentence...

Not forgetting that the wallies are now looking down the barrel......

It's a good day to be alive.

I agree in part. A win is a win, we have found a bit of fortune recently and things are looking up. My fear is that we've got some hard games coming up so no doubt we aren't completely clear (thank god for the recent run though!) and we havent exactly been playing well so how long can we sustain this 'form'?

From my point of view, Leeds fans need to be patient this season as Cellino did talk about promotion next season, however, we have a right to expect something resembling progress from season to season (sorry, but I want my team to do well and I cannot wait another 10 years for us to sort it out!). I think we have the right to worry of late as until just recently we have been dangerously close to dropping out of the league which would put possibly another 5 years onto our wait for the big time again. Cellino didnt help, as boggers points out, by hiring a couple of donkeys for Head coaches and basically no English league experienced players. I think it has been said a number of times on here that he seems willing to shell for potentially gifted foreigners, so why can he not pay for a proven coach??

If you look at Cellino's comments about us consolidating this year and going for promotion this year, I very much doubt in his mind he envisioned us at the bottom end of the table for as long as we were, so Leeds fans have a right to show their frustration with some of his questionable decisions and the way the team has been forged together.

Anyway, for the rest of this season I just hope we can continue to pick up points and finish mid table, I will however worry if we slip back down again. We have NOT been playing truly well, however, at the same time we should not fear ANYONE in this league so lets hope there is more reason to cheer in the coming months

No need to fear anyone. Weve already bewaten many of the top six so remaining games will be no harder. Our current outfit can win or lose any game

Wonder what odds are for us to get promotion, a long shot but would create some interest with the odd punter!!

And a bet on Saturdays match against those smoggy ****ers would be good odds, has they will be feeling tired after 3 games in 7 days.

As you pointed out to me, the jury is still out. Let's not be handing out plaudits till time is up. We have a tricky run of games now. Can't play wallie ****e every week.

You didn't have to mention it, you chose to.....,
The fat lady hasn't even started sound checks yet, let's wait and see... Not conceding anything just yet, a win at smogville next week and I might change my mind.
