Saw the vid on LFC website of Moreno doing this in training with Sturridge, nice that he brought it into the game. I know it's only silly little things but it does show that team morale is high at the moment <ok>

As professional display as I've seen for a while ESP second half. Ref was poor again. Seems to be the way for us at the moment but we are still coming through it.

Mingolet -9 who is this guy playing in goal for us. Looks so confident.

Can- 7 not as inspirational but still undroppable
Skrtel- 7 solid again but does give away silly free kicks
Sakho-7 defended well but he does have his ' hands over face ' moments

Markovic- 6 lively first half. Always runs with the ball like he doesn't know what to do with it.
Henderson- 7 keeps us going forward but passing a bit sloppy. Great one for studge though
Allen -8 one of his best games for us. ESP last 20 when he helped us retain possession .
Courthino-7 lively first half but faded second. Rightly taken off.
Moreno-7 so much energy final ball could do with a bit of a polish.
Lallana-7 at times looks like the player I thought he would and good reactions for goal.
Sturridge -8 looking sharp and great finish. Give him a few more games and he will be firing.

Ballotelli-7 could this week be his turning point with LFC. good strike for equaliser
Lovren -6 as Tuesday did nothing wrong
Lambert-6 worked hard and helped us keep possession.

  4. I thought Coutinho was a bit missing again today but I guess that's down to the standards he's set himself.

Also, Balotelli was very good when he came on again. He even chanced down defenders from the opposite side of the pitch. I was moaning before he took the free kick but fair play to him, it created the winner.

    As expected a good win.

We played with confidence. The injury to Gerrard could have been a blessing in disguise.

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew said:

"I'm a little disappointed that we didn't play better today. I thought Liverpool deserved to win and they had a bit more control than I would've liked."

"It was too easy for them at times and we need to correct that next time we play them. They have great technical players, we chased as hard as possible but we came up against a team that we need to learn from."

Went to the game today - was quite close to the pitch so was difficult to assess the game from my view.

But I certinaly noticed Allen bossing the midfield in the second half. Thought he was brilliant - hes one of those players that needs a run of games to get going. Injures have really ruined him. I'm an Allen fan and think he can be a useful squad player.

Thought Can had one of his poorer games today but I'm positive that this lad will be captain of Liverpool one day. Could see him talking to those around him, trying to lead and orgnise. The best bit was Lallana's goal, and the team celebrated and Mario wasn't interested, but Can literally dragged him closer to celebrate with the rest of the team. It wasn't as if Can was forcing him to celebrate or telling him to show respect - it was as if to say Mario deserves praise because it was his free kick that created that chance, and Can wanted him to be a part of him. Was a great gesture.

Thought Lallana was poor again today - good goal though.

The passing game in the second half was really impressive. Also, I wonder if Sturridge will get abuse for his lack of hard work today - mind you, this is what he has always done but for some reason, he's been made out as a great presser, and used a yardstick for Mario ...#JustSaying #LuckedOut

Oh, I love waving imaginary cards. I used to do it all the time. It certainly winds up a lot of opposing players. More sh*thousery needed, please.

Saw a more cynical side to us today - Mario winding up anyone who comes near him, Sturridge getting funny with Gayle, Migs wasting time for the GK.

Sturridge is our most prolific player. Possibly our best player. That can escuse the odd thing like not pressing today.

tbh he's so injury prone he could be broken by the time he's 26 if he does not much work.
