    Bound to be stripes. Adidas don't force a design on us...they gave Nicola the design he wanted. Love to know the full story of the spat, though obviously not serious enough for us not to consider them again. Or it was only between Nicola and Adidas...weird that...can't imagine Nicola having a row with anyone :)

    CEO Gareth Rogers: "We're very grateful to @adidasUK for the support and understanding they have offered over the past 12 months."

    Interesting quote from Gareth Rogers. We tried to get Adidas back in this season, but had left it too late. Obviously no rift between the club and Adidas, so must come down to one person. I don't know why people are upset...there were a lot of complaints about size and quality this season.

    Probably because there's a worry that we'll just get a template kit like last time (probably a greater chance with them putting so much money into the Man Utd deal) and because of stock shortages by about October. There are other kit suppliers out there who would have loved to produce our kits, so it wasn't a straight choice between Adidas or home-made.

    Was told a few weeks back that we won't be in stripes next year, and the away kit (or the prototype at least) is green.

    The Adidas deal is one-year long and as far as I know, won't be renewed - I saw Beefy share the news of Under Armour the other day.

    Say what you like about the Adidas kits, they were very good quality and last well. My sons kits from last year have been well worn and are still fine. This years are awful quality in comparison, with substandard fabrics.

    Green?! A dark green wouldn't be great for standing out on the pitch, and any other green would be ugly. Oh well, the good thing about Adidas is that they can really push the international sales aspect. No doubt we are making a lot of admirers these days, and it would be great to see Saints shirts next to Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool etc out here in Asia.

    No stripes for the home kit and green for the away kit....the club can expect a rather irate reaction from the fans.
    Are Adidas determined to put us in crappy old Liverpool kits?

    The only gripe I have with the prices isn't the cost as such, but the templates costing £15ish, shoving a Saints badge on it, and bumping it up to £50.
