Madrid and Bayern are the only teams who I'd fear in the CL and I still think we can get past them.

Both of them sides have had batterings in recent weeks as well; proving even they are very beatable with the right approach. I think this is a very open Champions League myself.

Real should have Modric and maybe Rodriguez back for latter stages though

True but whose to say Ronaldo or Kroos etc doesn't get an injury at some point?

Real are probably favourites but very difficult to retain the C.L.

Its a testament to how good we are that id be very dissapointed not to reach the cl semis at least.

In Europe im scared of real Madrid only tbh.

We've beaten barca a few times now

bayern have been pepified, I think defensively we've got enough

    who else?

Atletico? Meh, we should be able to have them off

Of which we are one of them. You can't win a major tournament being afraid of other teams in it. I personally don't think we are quite at the level of 2-3 other top European teams but we're in the mix. PSG will be hard though so I'm just concentrating on them for now.

I feel that we can beat any of the teams with a bit of luck. Just looking at PSG for now though.

Reckon nine wins and a couple of draws will secure 88 points and title.

City would have to win 12 out of 13 to match that

So I guess we're now 1st and Spuds 2nd after their loss and our win??
As for being 5th, who cares? the Teams that count haven't made up any ground on us.
Our form is down on early season for sure, and I'm surprised at the statistics, but I think credit is due that we are still on top when not even close to our best.

You would be surprised how close form is between the top 7 teams, as you say no significent ground has been gained or lost by any of them.
Can`t remember why i dug out the form stats, must have been replying to somebody else (probably Astro), i never normally look at it. My method is to look at who we play next and think "oh ****, i don`t fancy our chances here"

It is easy to read too much into that kind of statistic. While it is true that form is obviously important, it is never a guarenteed prediction of results. For example, QPR could always play a classic "cup final" mentality game against Chelsea and win despite being relegation candidates. Similarly, a big euro cup night can have a massive positive effect on a team.

Just said on the Pool board i don`t usually quote or take notice of form, i only reply to other peoples quotes.
My idea of form is "who do we play next, **** me that will be a hard game"
