I thought we were all one big happy family. Monk united the dressing and the club. Monk is this, Monk is that, Monk blinds us all with the sun shining out of his rear end .... blah, blah, blah. I guess not.
Who Shelvey? Put his crazy "better half" to one side. Shelvey needs to have a little chat regarding his "huff" against WBA when coming off. Other than that, it's what you can expect. Who Monk? Removal is only an option if you consider that you have a viable replacement in the short term. I don't know enough about the coaches surrounding Monk, other than Curtis and an inkling that the Spanish guy is not a total moron. So the only replacement option on the table, IMO, is Curtis and I presume he would take on the role with his customary aplomb as a caretaker, with the Spanish guy as his assistant (if viable). The rest of the plonkers like KOL et al have to go. If you're not comfortable with this and you don't have a clone of Pulis or the usual Prem subs/walk-ins ready in the wings then you're somewhat handcuffed. I think Curtis is up to it on a care taker basis. He has more than enough experience as a player and coach at different levels to provide enough calm, intelligence and stability to navigate us to the end of the season. Taylor is openly questioning where they are .... "We could still be playing now and we wouldn't score, which is not good," he said. "We have to re-evaluate." http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/31434738 Phil Neville thinks we're in a free fall without a soft landing ... ""he loss of Wilfried Bony is massive for Swansea. They are in the top 10 but I think they are a little bit in freefall at the moment. You have to score goals to do well in this league and I think that is where they will struggle." http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/31124672 Somebody posted on another board .... and I'm just reporting this as is, I have no idea of the validity of the comment .... that there is open dissent in the locker room of Monk and his methods etc, other than those that are considered his "friends". (No warranties expressed or implied on this - take it for what you will)
I personally would have left Shelvey on and taken Gomis off, he was ****. Of course she is going to be a little more biased, and to be honest others I have spoken too couldn't understand why he took Shelvey off whilst leaving Gomis on. Gomis is a lazy bastard, Shelvey is lazy too, but at least has a go at times.
Taking all of this with a pinch of salt but Jonjo has made it very clear he has no regard for Monk. Also the way he thrust the MoM award at Ash after the Southampton game was indicative of a pouty child - Ash laughed it off as 'just Jonjo' messing about. Maybe it was or maybe it was an indication he is not happy with the club hierarchy. Is he feeling the after effects of not getting his January move? More questions than answers I fear. After his sending off, poor play, attitude to Ash and comments to Monk v WBA a strong manager would still be wiping the floor with Shevey. What his missus does is her business (as it was in the past with Mrs Monk). If true, and Shelvey is stirring, he shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the Liberty when we play Man U and serious questions have to be asked about the management's ability to manage players. Hopefully this will be put to bed quickly. As we have seen in the past when managers don't weed out the trouble makers and make an example of them they end up running the show. What goes around comes around.
Because he was having an absolute mare of a game (again) Because Gomis has Monk by the proverbials Because Huw was in attendance and his star players wasn't coming off And finally, Because he was having an absolute mare of a game (again)
Should add lads that she is a very nice person in the flesh, very articulate as well. Everyone has an off day on Twitter, it's like a right of passage.
In the summer I can see Shelvey wanting away, Ki wanting a bigger club, Gylfi wanting away, routledge wanting away..
Shelvey definitely gets dropped next game (something Monk should have done when he said he was lazy last time)
Do we actually know that Shelvey is playing up behind the scenes. Quite rightly as you have said there have been a few GF's shouting their mouths off. Storm in a tea cup and just tell her to do one. If Shelvey ends up leaving then so be it there are plenty more players out there.
Quite frankly when Siggy doesn'y play I' would rather see Oliveira play with Gomis in a 442 system or move Ki and Cork forward and play Fulton as defensive midfielder. Shelvey's fiancee's attitude reminds me of Sinclair's when he was here. You don't hear any of the other player's partners making comments.
People will grab at anything when they're floundering and the luvvies are snatching at the immortal words of a wag to get them through the day. Don't know who's more useless, wags or the luvvies. Now there's an idea for a thread Keep digging girls
Society today lives though social media so no surprise when something like this happens , someone should tell the bint to stop moaning and enjoy the wealth and life style that comes with being a footballers girlfriend/wife/skirt .
You are so cool. can I touch you? I for one don't believe shelveys wag **** that was hard can I touch you? It's fair to comment this on a messageboard. You'ew boring **** off
what I tried to say was I believe shelveys wag & shelvey's opinons are not too far apart regarding this
