at least tadic had a good angle. The cbs were pumping it long from central, so was Davis. Tadic should have been on the left anyway and those early crosses would have been far more accurate on his strong side

 

We need to move the ball much faster in general

 

Another plus is that the six teams we've played twice are currently placed 3rd, 5th, 8th, 9th, 11th, & 17th in the table, so the remaining 13 games should on average be easier. Next up Liverpool are top half also, so let's not panic even if we do drop out of the top 4 after that one because there will still be plenty of other opportunities

 

Frustrating. No goals in our team at the minute. Can't see any one other than our 2 speedsters looking like they can score lately. Still hard to break down that many on the edge of the box. We haven't got any goal scoring prowess to get past that

 

I'm considering this as our second little dip in form. Difference is this time we are picking up points. Just trying to be positive

We will be world beaters again with Schneiderlin, Alderwiereld and Bertrand.

 

Worrying thing is our home form is not been the best of late.

I think West Ham made a serious mistake playing Carroll. They rushed him back early (apparently it is a flare up of his old injury) when they have no danger of relegation and no realistic chance of top 4 or even 6.

 

Against eleven players parking the bus you are supposed to move the ball quickly in front of their box. In an effective 11vs9 this is even more important and obvious. Dwelling on the ball and hesitating with two spare men on the park shouldn't be happening

 

It is actually the organised teams that do not open up that we struggle against.

 

Yeah and as much as the media/other fans etc keep saying we aren't that good and will fall away I guarantee that other teams won't feel the same and will set up for a point against us.

 

A real lack of quality in the final third, couldn't see us scoring despite good pressure. Worrying when you consider we were effectively up against 9 players?

 

When jwp came on he should have been shoved wide right for his crossing and tadic wide left

 

Was that a worldy save from a sub GK that saved them in the end?

 

Can see you dropping down to about 7th by the end of the season. Still a good year for you though.

 

Jussi can't even get through a sub appearance without at least one of those against us. Needed to test him more often, though.

 

Should've got the goal but a point isn't too bad. Of course it is frustrating that we didn't get the goal, especially against 10 men, but sometimes it doesn't fall for you. We need to improve our crossing certainly.
