Best player on the park... I've just put on 'our' site that he quite simply 'took the piss'. Helped by the fact he was being marked by a 'Stuart Little' stunt double I was sat relatively close to your fans tonight and although not the largest group... They made themselves heard throughout. Well Done to those who travelled
I don't understand the criticism he's been subjected to this year. Often played out of position I think he's tried to create something in struggling formations and a poorly playing team. I accept he has failed to track back on occasions but that should be easily 'managed out'.
Leroy has just tweeted. "Hope my injury is not too bad". I am taking this as possibly good news.....as a ACL or Achilles etc. You know your season is over before you leave the pitch..on the whole... Fingers crossed because under the new manager he looked a class act...
The criticism has arisen from frustration as he is obviously a good player who hasn't been delivering. The real revelation last night was Phillips who was a constant threat in the first half and looked physically strong too - about time as he is a big bloke for a winger.
I have been very crirical of Fer, but last night on my stream he looked superb. Not just the problems he casued their defence (and there were many) but his workrate increased considerably. For the first time he looked to be a team player. Well done Leroy & Matt Phillips. All 14 players gave their all. What more can you ask for?
Obviously the 11 day wait until Hull away is useful in terms of Fer's recovery, but I hope the momentum will not disappear as so often happens when there is an international break
Phillips & Fer gave the side the energy it needed to keep Sunderland pinned back. They played together before and never been that effective, so what ever the reason, long may it continue.
R's star sent for scan QPR, Latest news update: February 11, 2015 1:17 PM [[views]] QPR midfielder Leroy Fer has been sent for a scan after picking up a knee injury in the win at Sunderlandon Tuesday night. please log in to view this image Fer had one of his best games for the Hoops, netting with a header and having a positive influence until he was stretchered off in the second half with the knee problem. The R's will be hoping the scan reveals nothing too untoward and that he will be fit to play the next time they are on Premier League duty. In the Netherlands international's favour is the fact QPR are not in action again until the 21st of the month when they travel to Hull.

The Dutch international left the pitch on a stretcher after scoring one of the two goals which earned Rangers their first Premier League away points of the season. The Hoops reportedly fear that the damage sustained in the second-half collision with Liam Bridcutt could be extensive and may see Fer sidelined for several months alongside defender Richard Dunne. Thirteen-goal top scorer Charlie Austin is also facing two weeks out of action as injuries begin to mount on the managerless relegation candidates. Fer has scored four goals in 26 games since joining Rangers from Norwich City for £8m last summer.
As we've just come off a draw (that was almost a win) at Man City and a comfortable home win that gave our strikers the chance to play together for the first time I think we're both hoping for the same. The way both our teams usually go though, may the least inept team on the day win.
Ricardo. with your home form and our away form (except fantastic Tuesday for both clubs) a draw all day for me. Should be a great atmosphere with 2500 R's descending on the KC. (apart from the West stand!)
