This might be a tad harsh on him, however McShane in the second half was very poor defensively. There was at least 3 moments that Manchester City pinged a ball over the top of him and he stood there and watched it go over his head and it found Aguero who is deadly from that position, fortunately he didn't convert any of them. For that reason alone I wouldn't have him in my top 3. 1. Dawson 2. Bruce 3. Brady On today's performance it baffles me as to why have not played Brady recently? At times he looked different class and dug in when needed. Meyler impressed me with his closing down and harassing their midfield, he actually passed the ball forward a couple of times, but I suspect a few people on here didn't watch the full game and put him in their top 3 because he scored a tap in.
Bruce Brady Meyler (yes because he scored but he also played ok) But weren't they all much better. Feel for Livermore he is trying so bloody hard some of his passing was still off but I do like a player who plays on the edge and he does. Just calm down a bit and he'll be back to his best.
What a difference a week makes, if this is the Phelan factor, bring it on.That single, hard fought and well deserved point may well come to be the seasons pivotal moment now its so crucial to get something out of the Villa & QPR games as it looks like Leicester are deep in trouble and QPR may well be if Austin is out for any length of time
Macca Bruce Dawson Honourable mentions to the rest of the team, not forgetting Mike Phelan, but I can't not put any of the back three on the podium due to the fact that they undoubtedly laid the solid foundation that we've been sadly lacking of late, and the other players were simply inspired by their 'none shall pass' role in the team.
