Didn`t miss it mate, three foot off the floor, studs first well after the ball had gone. Did you see the match previous to this?

In the long run it's better for West Ham to have dropped point.

Man Utd will start dropping like a stone next month.

We should've won at the weekend but all in all the weekend's results were pretty kind to us. I can't see Burnley or Leicester doing us any favours though so we have to beat Spurs and southampton no questions asked

  13. Problem is, we need to better our rivals. This weekend didn't see us lose ground but it was a missed opportunity to gain some.

True, they should have lost but it took a last minute free kick to earn City a point.

Yeah, frustrating but we didn't really lose any ground.

We will start to see the survival instinct kick in soon with anyone threatened with relegation so games against the bottom 6 or 7
sides may not be as easy as they seem

"Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has been granted a 24-hour extension to the deadline to respond to a Football Association disrepute charge.

"This is regarded as normal procedure by the FA. He now has until 18:00 GMT on Tuesday to respond.

"On Friday, Van Gaal said he intended to contest the charge, which relates to comments he made after the FA Cup fourth-round tie at Cambridge on 23 January."

"In 30 years as a trainer-coach, I've never been charged. You can confirm, as the media, that I never say anything about the referee, in all the matches I have played."

<laugh> Van Gaal has had a complete #meltdown in his press conference and started throwing paper at journalists with stats and graphs about Man Utd not being a long ball team

    • Simon Stone, BBC Football writer at Man Utd's news conference
      Posted at13:18

It would be fair to say Louis van Gaal is irked by suggestions he has turned Manchester United into a long ball team.

The four A4-sized stats sheets he was carrying as he entered the press conference room at Carrington this lunchtime was confirmation he knew the questions about United's style were coming.

The answers were long and detailed.

He fundamentally disagreed with Sam Allardyce's view at West Ham on Sunday. He claimed most of United's long passes were sideways, in an attempt to switch play and he had only reverted to a more direct approach when it became obvious a change in tactic was required.

As he left the room, he advised all journalists to take a copy of the stats - and "show them to Big Sam".
