I think you might have missed my point a bit Stanley. He's absolutely right in what he says, of course; West Ham are easy on the eye these days while Man United do appear to have resorted to hoofing it up to Fellaini! The fact that he came out and said it in this way, after being slaughtered by all and sundry for it himself for years, was perfect!
Surely it's simple. Man United had a plan B and West Ham didn't. And West Ham couldn't cope with it. What a good idea it is to have a plan B.
It is a great bit of wumming, but I'd disagree that they're easy on the eye now. They still seem to rely a lot on crosses and he's made comments recently to suggest he thinks people are too obsessed with the passing game.
So what ? In a results business it does matter if the result goes your teams way. Sam of all people knows that, the big wum. Lol.
Have you seen the Vine of the press conference? He starts handing out pages of stats and the woman sat next to him pulls a cringing face.
The stupid **** was praising himself for changing the tactics and going long ball and equalising - he didn't put two and two together and realise that they were losing when they tried to play football with his first choice plan - have you ever seen anyone write so many notes during the match and yet he still sounds clueless
This brilliant minds games by LVG with the media. Instead of taking about how ****e they where against West Ham they're talking about his press conference.
That might be true if he was intentionally playing mind games, however I think he's just made a tit of himself by falling for Big Sam's taunting.
It's worth remembering Allardyce last year pissing himself at Mourinhos comments, in a press conference, and saying "He can't take it cos we've out-tacticed him."
