Lay -Peace And Co - on kalkir at fancy prices and really cant understand the price about this one. I would lay 2-1 all day long. I wouldn't back it at 5s. Close 2nd would be Douvan - all over Lami Serge at decent prices. Silver Concorde interesting.

Banker - Cant see how Annie Power will be beat if she runs even 80% fit.. that's a big if at the moment. Therefore it has to be Un De Sceaux. Everything running scared to the JLT. JLT will be an absolute belter, Arkle will be a procession.

Dark Horse - Zarkander in the World Hurdle. Danger I think is Un Temps Pour Tout who I think ran a belter in the Cleve given Pipe said in the lead up would need the run big time. Why anyone backed it at 7/4 I will never know. Think they will be the 1/2 given doubts about More of That. Honourable mention to Value at Risk in the AB!

Lay - Vautour - JLT - Don't think he is without a chance by any means, but Ptit Zig looks class to me and I just think Vautour will come off 2nd or maybe 3rd best
Banker - Silviniaco Conti - Peaking at the right time, 9 years old, best staying form in the book, his time has come
Dark Horse - Bellshill - Cracking run in an irish bumper when he finished behind bumper veteran Vigil, will improve for that, and may get the assistance of Ruby, as Patrick will probably ride Au Quart De Tour

Lay - Silvinaco Conti. As the weeks have gone by this years renewal of the Gold Cup looks to be getting stronger with the emergence of Many Clouds and Road To Riches and it actually may be a decent enough contest. Silviniaco Conti has been the best staying chaser over the past couple of seasons but his best performances have come on flat tracks and I'm not sure Cheltenham is to his liking. Can definitely win but 10/3 is a ridiculously short price in my opinion.

Banker - Paint The Clouds. I've been backing Warren Greatrex's 10 year old weekly for a couple of months now at 7/1 & 8/1 and I think he's going to prove miles too good. A winner of all 3 Hunter Chases last season, Paint The Clouds has yet to be troubled in his 5 starts over regulation fences and I don't think anything around in this discipline will trouble him either. Yet to be seen this season, Greatrex said he'll have one run (likely at Doncaster next Saturday) before the Foxthunters and he is my banker of this years festival by a country mile.

Dark Horse - Un De Sceaux for the QMCC. Although not even in the betting for the Championship race over 2 miles, I have a sneaky suspicion that UDS might be supplemented for this as a Novice in what looks a poor renewal of the contest. I hated Sprinter Sacre's reappearance and wouldn't touch him with a barge pole, SDG looked beaten when unseating Yesterday and with the outstanding horse this year Dodging Bullets having a horrible record in the springtime it could turn out to be an extremely winnable contest. The Arkle looks a very poor race as well which UDS would surely mop up but It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they sent Vautour that route given how impressive he was over 2m in the Supreme last year and sent UDS for the Champion Chase as a novice.

Lay- has to be Faugheen, done nothing to merit a 5/4 chance and I don't think he respects his hurdles , backed him last yr for the Neptune at11/2 . Prefer to have 5/4 a place on Jezki.

Banker - has to be Un de Seaux stands up wins simple, but I'll also throw in Apache Stronghold JLT JUMPS AND TRAVELS brilliant

Dark Horse - edyemi . Tony Martin at his work simple

I would lay Un de Seaux with question marks over his jumping in a competitive, larger race. He looked very good last time out but only beat two horses that haven't been within 20 seconds of standard in any of their races. Can't have Silviniaco Conti either in the Gold Cup. He doesn't appear to like Cheltenham and didn't appear to get up the hill at the finish last year.

Your point would be valid except the fact UDS doesn't know whether there's 5 or 50 in the race as he blazes a trail to the front in his races so it's irrelevant what field size.
