    Liverpool will make an £8million bid for Partizan Belgrade defender Stefan Savic but will face competition from Manchester City.

    The 20-year-old looked all set for a move to the Eastlands but the Reds late bid for him may change his mind.

    Savic arrived in England on Monday evening ahead of a planned medical with City, whilst talks over a potential £6million deal continued.

    But Liverpool have offered more money to the Serbian club in an attempt to hijack the deal and steal the Montenegro international from under City’s noses, according to Sky Sports.

    We're also signing Rooney with Jovanovic,Poulsen and Konchesky going the other way.He won't get any games,Liverpool need something for Martin Skrtel to hit.

    Skrtel has shown on numerous occasions that he is a bit of a pansy. (appologies to pansies worldwide).
    Looks like he can take the rough and tumble but proves otherwise.

    In that link it says West Ham are interested in Konchesky and Joe Cole for 7.5 Million which would be nice but as its from caughtoffside not very likely to be true.
