I hope that Oguchi Onyewu, Tal Ben-Haim and Yoni Buyens never play for us again... F*****g disgrace for players. Come the final whistle couldn't even come over to the fans to acknowledge them.

That was the last straw now for me!

F*** these lousy network c***s! I'd rather we play the kids and put Jonnie Jackson as our Manager.

That is not on. The fans have spent a lot of money, time and trouble supporting the team around the Country. If they don't think to acknowledge the fans, the Manager/ Coach should make them. I am becoming more disillusioned by Football in general and Charlton in particular. There just seems to be this disregard for fans from the owner. downwards.

Couldn't have said it better myself Dick Plumb. Middlesbrough is not a trip up the road.

Jonnie Jacksom rounded up a few of the team to acknowledge, they were proper Charlton boys though, not the network.

Our away attendances this year have been appalling. Got no idea if it's the economy, or the rising travel costs? However, Hartlepool managed to take more fans to Portsmouth.

Not just away support, I'm having serious doubts about turning up to the Valley on Tuesday. I will probably go, more to gauge the fans reaction than cheer the team, as at present RD has done a first class job of destroying Team moral. Personally I agree, Bring Jacko in as Manager, but for God sake let him chose his own team without interference.

Guy Luzon's interview on the Football League Show.

He's like Watto from Star Wars The Phantom Menace.

Or the worst thing from the worst thing ever.

I don't think Jackson should be brought in as Manager. What we should have done is bring in an experienced Championship Manager like Nigel Adkins and made Alan Curbishley a Director of Football, charged with identifying the players required. Secondly I would have liked to have seen RD back the new Manager in the transfer market. Also I would like RD to let the Manager manage. You don't get in a dog and bark yourself. I think it is clear to everyone that the network idea, good in principle, is not working.

Will RD change? No I don't think he will. I really think we will be playing in Div 1 next season to sub 10000 crowds.
Do I think organised meetings of Supporters will change RDs mind? No I don't think it will, but it is something that we need to do.

Maybe falling attendances will make a difference, but I won't hold my breath.

Whenever he talks I find myself doing the Stone Cold, "WHAT?"

I really don't think the network is a good idea for the following:

    1. Players will play only for the owner rather than the team or fans, and hence lack passion

    2. Taking kids away from their family, thousands of miles across Europe could end up with them suffering from depression (depression is a taboo subject for them to bring up, Leon McKensie, Clarke Carlisle).

    3. Large disparity between standards of different leagues can mean one way traffic only. We send out or best, but receive crap.

    4. You'll get friction between club players and network players.

It's abundantly clear this is already happening. Not just to ours, but to all his clubs.

I fear to, that we'll be playing League One. Everyone else seemed to get a smart manager in. We done the opposite.

I think so, but it was so poorly done that it was difficult to tell. Bamford was laughing.

I can't be bothered listening to Luzon's interviews. His English is so limited that he's unlikely to have anything worthwhile to say. Which begs the question of how he can possibly be a decent coach.

Big plus for RD is if he could persuade Jacko to take the poisoned challis he would not have to fork out any more cash as he's on the wages bill already. A "real manager" would mean Roland spending, something he does not do lightly.
