Brady Meyler Dawson Thought McShane and Bruce had good games .as did all our players, we seemed more organised and commited, wonder if this has anything to do with Mike Phelan.
Bruce Dawson Brady Incredible, just shows you how amazing football is you can never predict it. Was devastated to concede so late but obviously a stunning point and real team performance. Has to be followed up with results against Villa and QPR overwise the bonus point we picked up today means very little.
Pleasantly surprised at all the Brady votes, I thought his contribution might have been overlooked by most on here. Dawson Brady Ramirez I keep going on about it but the attack is so important in these games. We wouldn't have had the battle to hold on so long if we didn't get the goal. It's psychological. We suddenly had something to hold onto. Brady created our two best chances and was up against arguably the best fullback going. Ramirez battled for once and got his reward. Bruce made the most vital challenge but Dawson blocked everything. Meyler just has a goalscoring gene or something and that deserves recognition. I've given him a lot of stick lately but none of our other midfielders would have been there to score it.
Maybe the reason the team looked and played in a more confident manner than of late had something to do with them not having to worry about Davies, who has been a liability since the cup final.
McShane Brady Meyler ...Huddlestone almost crept in there in third due to the effort he gave compared to his last 2 games.Vast improvement...but his bad passing,which until the run in to the cup was his forte,let him down yet again.I know they can't all be zingers but he has really been poor in that respect this season.Calm in possession though and gave all he could.
