There's an injury to Charlie Austin it seems. Not sure of details yet. #QPR

Don't panic just yet. Probably just a precaution.

 

But i have to panic and overreact to everything, it's the QPR way.

 

Zarate seems ok.

 

Best to wait and see what the damage is before panicking....although I'm now beginning to feel the same way.

 

Had a text to say he and Dunne are out for the season. Austin with a broken foot......

 

Ffs this season is a ****ing disaster

Being assessed over next 48 hours, lets wait for something official.

 

Apparently both players left on crutches... But always darkest before dawn...this will be the greatest escape...if it happens...

Mmm..................I didn't notice Austin get injured.

Thing is, he has gone off the boil and missed a sitter today. His all round game was very poor today and he hardly won a header all game.
Time for Vargas to step up?

 

First game after the window and it all goes tits-up, fekkin' marvellous...

 

I saw Austin get injured near the end and was hobbling around a bit. He seemed to have run it off, so i thought but then looked in pain a few minutes later. Gutted for him but sadly it one thing after the next with us.

Let's pray it's not broken, if it is then it's probably 4-6 weeks for recovery so he would be back for the run in, time for Vargas to step up into his natural role and hopefully bang in some goals!

 

quite right, he's done very well but is looking very slow and limited. Phillips did get some crosses in today (not the highest quality ones) but he was nowhere near them. I think relying on him really limits our oprions as he can't play up front without a target man next to him. Vargas, Zarate (looked very lively today) Adel...we have options.

I know this is heresy and Charlie does try extremely hard, but the hype has gone to his head if the body language is anything to go by when he doesn't get the ball where he wants it.

Dunne will be missed hugely. (there you go Nuts).

 

Yep. Charlie hates playing up top on his own and that looks like the way we will play, so Vargas needs to be played there.
