Saints after French striker?

Saints said to be interested in 29-yr-old French striker, Gignac, who is out of contract soon and could be signed on a precontract. Said to want a move to a decent PL club. West Ham and QPR are thought to have been previously interested and Everton now possibly looking at him. Only speculation at this stage.

 

Not a big fan of him as he is less mobile than Pelle, however we will just have to wait and see.

 

I think he's a class player, bit like Lambert when he was still good. Strong in the air, good technique, great understanding of the game.
