Champions Manchester United are eager to add France star Moussa Sissoko to their squad, according to reports in the French media.

The Toulouse man is already a target for Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City, and now the four Premier League clubs will battle it out for his signature.

The 21-year-old - capped three times by France since his debut two years ago -is eager to make the move to England after spending eight years on Toulouse's books.

The midfielder came onto Sir Alex Ferguson's radar following the loss of Paul Scholes and Owen Hargreaves, and the imminent departure of Darron Gibson.

Sissoko came close to moving to Tottenham two years ago, but the two clubs could not agree a fee for the player. This time around the asking price would be in the region of £7 million.

Isn't that what we need? Creativity from midfield is not a problem, apparently we need goals from midfield.

essien isnt a goalscoring midfielder, not in the same way sneijder, nasri or someone like lampard are.essien is more like fletcher than them.

what we need is someone to take carricks place in CM IMO,he adds nothing to the team, let him be 4th choice in the big games.with a fully fit fletcher,i could see sneijder or nasri fitting right into the team.likewise in a 3 man midfield, fletcher, anderson and sneijder would be a very strong lineup.of course sneijder is just an example, but he is the exact type of player i think we need.

I don't think we would need him.

Heard about this on talksport and not too sure. We surely need more creativity from midfield.
