Would love to win this one at a canter.....in order to rest the likes of Sterling and Coutinho for the big games coming up in the next 3 weeks.

Unfortunately, I reckon it will be a tight, bruising affair. With both of the above being kicked from pillar to post. I'm still in shock from conceding in the final seconds at Anfield in a game that we totally dominated so won't take anything for granted here.

That said, a win here and things get mighty interesting. One of Spurs or Arsenal must drop points. A Spurs win or a draw favours us. And I can see Utd dropping points at West Ham or even Southampton slipping up and dropping points at QPR. Two or Three times a season, just about every result goes your way. Let's hope it does and that we can capitalise!! One set of perfect results for us and everything to play for <ok>

    I voted a draw btw #nojinx <laugh>

  2. Some people are simply unable to show decent human behaviour or class. Something like that should be applauded, there is no need for comments degrading the article.

Awh, dominating a game and not winning is a sign of a weak manager<ok>

  6. I know you haven't, just taking the opportunity since a lot of posters think Brod as #luckedout with formations and player selections quite a few times now <laugh>

    Obviously, I think that's BS too :)

No need for him to panic, a draw is the worst he will do, we are so out of form it is not even funny and we signed Lennon as a boost to the squad.

My hope for some fun is a EL run this season

  10. Based on current form and league positions, I think we both need a win. I don't think a draw does either side any favours.

From our perspective, we need to keep the pressure on the top four and we need to be beating our direct rivals. Fair enough, you guys might be lower down the table and out of the top four race but I still see you as rivals (for obvious reasons). Beating Everton is a morale boost too.

    Remember the City game? <laugh>

We put in a performance that day, that came from nowhere, I'm hoping that we might replicate that lelvel, but I can't say I'm confident we will like.

I wonder if he'll have the nads to bring McCarthy back in and drop Barry instead of Besic?

Logic and form says he should, his previous says he won't and arguably our best player in recent weeks will end up on the bench, hope I'm wrong.

Besic has been a steal at £4m, he looked like he was going to struggle to adapt then BOOM! He is up amongst the best performers at the club. I would have had him for MOTM against palace for his run, turn and ball out the the right in the first half....But jags was MOTM and back to himself with Stones

is he able to play 90 mins now, a few red complained that he ran out of gas as he is not up to the speed of play/pressing game Rodgers invented
