All this talk about Sherwood has me confused, I honestly can't see the wood for the trees. He should take Steve Black with him and go where they really belong, at Forest...
Agree. I think it would show real vision for a long term appointment. He's highly rated. Alas, we need someone to keep us up in the short term and Hoddle might be better equipped given that he knows our current squad inside out, the players' strengths and weaknesses etc. Given that we now can't add anyone to the squad, no other appointment is going to come armed with that sort of knowledge
Like some on here I would go for Clement, if somone on social media is to be believed, yeah take that one with a massive pinch of salt, he has said he has applied. Other than that I really don't know, most who look decent enough already have postions whey would be insane to leave (including Clement), but for some reason the thought of Sherwood becoming manager fills me with worry, it seems a done deal according to the media.
What actually is peoples problem with Sherwood? I am excited about Clements boy applying for the Job, the football would be attractive and he must have the club close to his heart.
Aren't most people involved with running our club, I have just read another article on TS and am slowly changing my mind.
Clement would show fantastic potential. Looking at the structure, with a director of football, a master coach and tactician in Clement would be a wonderful long-term option, and he's worked with the biggest egos in the game and come out on top. Wonderfully excited to see him linked. Sherwood worries me as its just Harry but with more enthusiasm. Quite like the guy as a person but if Fernandes is to be believed, then a restructure and new mentality is to be believed, then perhaps he isn't the man for us.
I have heard that Harry Redknapp is suddenly available for the right price FA Cup winner and Champions League manager
That's the kind of thinking we need. Wait until the end of the season unless we can get (in order) Clement, Seedorf, someone like Tuchel or Warburton in now with a 'don't worry about relegation, you're here to build a legend' message.
I'd stick Norway and Amit in a room with a phone until they came out with the name of the new manager. They can have a tea trolley too. (Sincerely meant Norway - you know your stuff)
