That's been going on over here for years Iremember it in the news few years back. A lot of restaurants and food companies found it cheaper to just use halal meat rather than offer both halal and normally slaughtered meat. Their logic was that non Muslims wouldn't care to find out where their meat came from whereas Muslim would not touch anything but. So they could basically cover both markets with one product so to speak. halal and kosher methods are from the dark ages and disgust me. You try slaughtering a sheep in your back yard and you'd be arrested. But say a magic spell whilst doing it and it's all good cos that's religion! Mind it's not just halal abbotoirs that have ****s working for them. Remember Bernard Matthews place was in the news not to long ago with some divvy ****s using live turkeys as football's. Hate ****s that are cruel to animals
I choose to look the other way when it comes to what goes on in abattoirs, whether halal or not. I have no doubt that whilst many will try and avoid cruelty there are many that don't. It's been reported so many times in the past. How chickens are killed is even worse! I'm not a big meat eater, but I'm not prepared to give it up, so I look the other way. Like most people.
Everywhere!! No animal needs to die! I had veal a couple of years ago and it was immense. Best meat I have EVER had - and I would happily have it again. I used to be a butcher and regularly went to get meat deliveries from the abattoir. They were killed "humanely" although it was not uncommon for a cow to be shot 3 times in the head before it dies - not the abattoir's fault - just the fact that cows are hard as ****!! That's not exactly "kind" to the animals but it can't be. helped as they are so difficult to kill
Having to shoot the cow 3 times though, is in the cows interest though isn't it? As opposed to fulfilling some silly belief regardless of the welfare of the animals.

So the Christian bairns have to go without. ****ing do gooders. Never mind - the Christian kids probably only make up about 5% of the pupils anyway.
They're not catered for as they don't cause a fuss. To be honest I'm not sure the Muslims are causing a fuss, this has probably come from some do-gooding white dickhead.
Its cost cutting, or exuse given anyway. If its a doo gooder they havent done a good job in not catering (no pun intended) to everyone. Did you intend the 'catered' pun, just noticed you did first haha.
