Along with his studs Of course, your defence may well have the prospect of facing our trio of Sturridge, Sterling and Coutinho
Why? They fluked an undeserved result last game, so statistically they won't fluke an undeserved result next game.
They've played so **** all season, due a good game, that's what I meant. Derby games are the very ones where form goes out the window. we need to be calm and calculating and not get dragged into an emotional scrap
He's a really good lad. I get my diclofenac from him. It's been free for ages, but the bloke he gets it off is to start charging £10 a box. That's a 3 month = supply though and it's the only one that works for my arthriitis. He just thinks it's a given.
Thing is, if Rafa was working under FSG and not H&G I reckon his stats would be a lot higher. He wouldn't have been forced into a sell to buy policy and judging by Rodgers' signings, Rafa would have had a lot more say about who he could get and first choices would be been brought in. Mata, Alves, Jovetic, Cazorla all a few players who Rafa wanted but wasn't allowed to sign... I'm a big fan of Rodgers though and think despite his signings being labelled a flop, we have some real young exciting talent which includes signing made by him (Can, Markovic, Coutinho, Moreno, Sakho) and in a few years, keep this team together and add another quality CB, CM & CF and it could be a brilliant team plaing attractive football. Under Rodgers we've had 1 poor half followed by a brilliant half of the season which we finished 7th, then a fantastic season finishing 2nd, then a poor 1st half followed by a decent 2nd half which we are around 6th/7th place. Not much consistency there where as Rafa you knew you'd get top 4 and be there or there abouts every year (apart from his last)
Rafa never had to compete for 4th, there was no City, no Spurs, no teams with ambition Everton used to come 5th/6th FFS
Rafa also won trophies and had to deal with European football, and consistently got us top 4 (bar final season).
Rafa found a team in the top 4 and finished 5th the next season only salvaged by that miraculous CL win. I think we just need to appreciate that Rodgers has a win rate only second to Rafa and you can make a case for both being good managers. The important thing now is for Rodgers to use this experience and start winning trophies as a manager and not find himself on the wrong side of 60 being called a genius like Harry Redknapp for winning 1 trophy in his entire career. For a 42 year old he is doing good and just needs to make the next step up.
