He hung on as long as he could...probably has run out of ideas. The knee is an excuse...I bet he didn't take too many sessions. I think Rosie took training.
And somehow, again, Harry Redknapp slides away, with reputation somehow mostly-intact. A master, and why he will always work again.
Brace yourself for endless articles and interviews about him. He really gets on my ****. He is not a footballing God!!!
Message to any incoming manager - 'You've gotta work with what you've got'.....hmmm not sure I'd be pleased about that.
Sometimes it's bad too....they've been woeful recently but this might be the kick up the bottom they need - hopefully not. After all they won't have 'Arry there with his genius football tactics to help them along.....
Kevin Gallen says Harry looked very unhappy because there were no signings yesterday. HR only managed by bringing in loads of players and hoping some would work out...not the type of manager to get the best out of a player. This will upset Ron's plans a bit...may not be quite obvious how QPR will play under Les Ferdinand. Redknapp apparently resigned at 5-30 this morning....obviously couldn;t sleep. So nothing to do with his knee at all.
Okay, I ****ing love Harry Redknapp. He's a fantastic heel, in the days where managers show an increasing lack of charisma and personality. He's not a 'modern manager'. Well modern managers are robotic, smiling, management-speak bullshit merchants like Rogers, AVB or Nigel Adkins. And I love Adkins! But he's ****ing boring! please log in to view this image
Of course he will. He's leaving now, reputation only slightly tarnished so that he can do it again. His career is littered with situations like this. He's a dreadful charlatan who has worked his gimmick and reputation very well. He got himself over with the footballing world by doing precisely **** all and has managed to keep that reputation throughout his career.
