Interestingly, Jonny Margetts was supposed to have gone on loan by now, the Trinity chairman said it was 99% done and he was on his way, but he then scored a hat trick in the 8-0 win at the KC. I wonder if that means he's either being touted to go to a better club or whether he's being considered for a bit of first team training. With Townsend also coming back, I just think Brucey might be trying to pad out the squad a bit with a couple of youngsters. After all, they've got at least 9 years left until their skill goes.

They have no club so it isn't a transfer which means you can sign them anytime you want to. If there is a player without a club we are cool to sign them.

When does the loan window open? I saw someone tweet it opened in a couple of days. If that's so, I'd expect a new face in soon.

 

Pretty sure we can't sign free agents after the window because our 25-man squad will be full, and I don't think you can change it after its submitted anyway.

Emergency loan window also doesn't apply to PL clubs, except for outgoings. This is our squad for the season now.
