I'd have been happy with any mixture of the following:

Kaboul: in his last 6 months with Spuds. (With Hill and Dunne in their last season he strikes me as a good/cheap option.)

Huth: Available on the cheap, good communicator, again younger and better than what we already have.

K.Jones: (I may be on my own with this one!) Cardiff ready to listen to offers as need to pay off a creditor loan. So getting his £40k a week off their books is seen as a priority. I'd have him as a foil for Austin up top so we can at least play 4-4-2 away. Big strong presence. May not get a great deal of goals but I think he'd free up Charlie to get back on a run, and chip in with a handful himself.

Lambert: Loan deal being mooted, doubtful I know but this would be my ideal 'In' for today.

Adebayor: Only if it's a loan deal for me. Doubtful given TF's tweet.

Lennon/Sako: Unsure on these one's, are they miles better than Hoilett or Phillips? Lennon and Hoillett strike me as similar 'sort' as do Sako and Phillips. I'd only like to see this in if they were replacements for the other.

The Defoe dream finally dies - already proving his worth. Kenwyn-Jones is a good shout. I thought Huth was off somewhere else??
 
Gestede and Sako (Wolves) were my 2 predictions at the weekend. Today, not a flipping clue
 
I'm actually tempted to say no one. This group of half talented players have got themselves into this mess and they should man up and take responsibility to get themselves out of it, especially when you consider our Jan signings track record.
