I'm fairly certain I read something a few years ago that said in the 4 hours of the game (or however long it is) there is only approximately 45 minutes of actual play. Never seen a slower paced sport than NFL
Sounds like it warmed up into quite a game. Don't understand the finer points. Still got to be watching tennis, a game that leaves me stone cold.
Saw the end Award cermony of that Tennis Game. Thanks BBC for putting that crap on instead of MOTD2 Extra. Murray did not look happy
All in all, very good business ... Taylor needs to play and develop, he is an exciting prospect and he's Leeds so Warnock going is great ... Pearce won't dislodge Cooper, Bellusci or Samba, and Wootton will become a better player than him, so no brainer ... Austin is just too erratic to be a regular selection, so again no problem here, and with Murphy starting to become the player we expected him to be, getting money for Austin right now is laughable so happy to take it Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Murray should have taken him, he had the opportunities. Djorkavic was playing mind games. He was feining injury in the third set. The diference was Djorkavic took his chances, Murray couldn't
Almost fully agree with you there, Billy. Just think it's worth the gamble to keep Austin whilst he's on fire, even if it only lasts another 2 or 3 games, with the possibility of another 'hot' return towards the end of the season. It really could make the difference. We're on a fine margin his season & have already gambled with the other 2 (which I agree with), but this one I think is a step too far.
I agree WJ Sharp should have been an Ipswich player by now, what value might those extra two points be worth at the end of the season and when we play Wigan you know who the MOM will be....
Can't see how selling someone who's been playing, been playing ok, undermining the manager who wants to keep and to one of our relegation rivals, being good business, regardless of the ££.
Most articles are reporting Austin has reportedly signed for Wigan, this one is just out on Leeds United News, however, it says reportedly. By Steven Toplis, Reporter Filed: Monday, February 2, 2015 at 09:58 UK Last Updated: Monday, February 2, 2015 at 09:58 UK http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/footbal.../report-wigan-sign-rodolph-austin_202912.html I'd be surprised if he hasn't, or didn't sign.
Another wonderful post from the 'official' Wigan account ..... Wigan Athletic @LaticsOfficiaI 15m15 minutes ago REACTION: Dave Whelan on Austin signing: "I needed to get a black lad in to prove I'm not a massive racist" #wafc
I can to a certain extent understand the point you're trying to make however, let's look at it from a few different angles. The clubs angle, A) Austin is inconsistent, most fans know that. The club see selling him now and getting something much better than getting nothing at end of season. From a players angle, B) Austin, as we've mentioned has been inconsistent for most of season, then a couple of clubs enquire about him. By coincidence maybe, Austin starts turning it on a bit; putting himself in shop window maybe? Austin knows, despite what Redders says, knows he won't always be a first team choice, either by inconsistency or N'Goyi arriving, at Wigan he believes he may get regular first team football; knowing Malky Mackay, he probably will, to begin with. From a fans angle, C) The majority of fans all season have been saying Austin is inconsistent and runs hot and cold, he plays 1 good game then 10 bad games. He has 2 decent games, against udders not so decent, and the fans are shouting for him to stay. His passing is not brilliant and his shooting ability would be wanted by any number of Rugby players. Austin would not be part of Leeds future, irrespective of what Redders says. Redders has been spouting a lot of bull the last few months plus, I doubt Redders will be coach next season.
WJ, I can't believe Whelan actually said that.........or is a jokester having a go? The article underneath says it's a confirmed Austin signing.
Interesting read. http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015...-for-leeds-has-redfearn-dealt-with-it/page/1/ Then this from Childs http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2014...ef-operating-office-slams-cellino-cri/page/1/ Then this from Sharp, obviously not doing himself any favours, considering Leeds allowed him to move to Ipswich if he wanted too. http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015...y-sharp-makes-plea-to-massimo-cellino/page/1/
I say good luck to him. He got our team back then playing on the ground football, and got them fitter. Both Darko and Redders inherited that legacy despite Redders saying Darko and Hockaday left him a mess, which I don't believe. http://www.coventry.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=386997
Guess what - I'm going to disagree! Club's angle - should be 'team unbeaten in 4, with Austin playing very well. We're desperate for points - can Austin & a settled team get us more points in this unbeaten run? Probably. Will selling Austin disrupt the team & possibly ruin unbeaten run? Possibly. Is it worth losing £500k to keep him during this run? Yes'. Players angle - 'Redders has only just realised I'm better as an attacking midfielder & it's working out well for me & the club. Says he wants to keep me, too. Would Wigan play me every game? Unlikely. Who's more like to get relegated - Leeds or Wigan. Wigan. Deffo worth staying with Leeds'. Fans angle - all of the above, plus stats prove that Austin is by far not the worst passer in our team. Murphy is he worst, then there are a few who are several percentage points behind Austin (including Cook the midfield wonderkid!).
Confirmed, I think,lol, Austin signed. http://www.squawka.com/news/reports-wigan-sign-leeds-midfielder-rodolph-austin/289655?
