The 2 teams below us have a game in hand if they win them they both go above us. Does anyone at the game know how bad Easters injury is as any goals he might score now become more important. I also hope Lee Mansells comment about Barnet becoming worried doesn't back to bite us

    Spot the difference.
One team with part-timers near the bottom.
One team with a million pound budget and a full-time squad near the top.
    I couldn't!!

The wheels are falling off the wagon. That 2 week break has all but killed our season now. It would be different if our team had a bit of grit and a backbone, it would have helped if we could have stayed in the FA Vase. We are too weak, something to build on next season I guess.

What a load of nonsense. Yes it was a very poor result, two important points dropped against a side near the bottom. But it's not the manager nor the players' fault that we've had a staggered fixture list in January. The wheels haven't come off either - closing games out away from home has been a problem for most of the season as have the number of draws we've had, but the fact remains that we've only lost ONCE in the league since September 6. Even for a club the size of Rovers in the Conference that takes strength and indeed grit and backbone.

Sorry to sound harsh, I know we both want the best for Rovers at the end of the day. I just disagree with your post.

The season is over 40 plus games. I don't think we are going to be the only team that will struggle now and then to pick up points when a win is the obvious result. We didn't want to be relegated last season and I am sure that Dartford don't want to be relegated this season either, so they will scrap for points and if dragging us down to their level and causing us to make simple errors helps them in their fight we should not be surprised. This does not make yesterdays result more acceptable but hopefully the manager and his staff can help the players to overcome this setback and push on for the rest of the season.

Wonder if Bristol Rugby are writing off their promotion hopes after todays defeat which is what we are appearing to be doing after yesterdays draw. DC game report states Easter has a knee injury which has to be looked at

Same old excuses year in year out. We have always struggled to beat crap teams.

I think a 2 week break certainly made us lose some momentum. Then our inability to beat woking away created a bit of pressure as we had a great chance to close the gap after Barnet lost in the early kick off. Then another further 2 week break was the last thing we needed. Im sure players match fitness/sharpness is not at 100% which will make us struggle to get at teams like we were doing when games were coming thick and fast. These two 2 weeks break was because of our failure to progress in the FA trophy. Also what didnt help our cause on Saturday at Darford was the playing conditions. It sounded awful and looked just as bad. Its the same for both sides of course but im sure our normal game was effected by the conditions. However we took the lead twice and within minutes conceded after each of our goals. What went wrong? Lack of concentration me thinks. The players played twice in just 27 days. Obviously they wont be as sharp on and off the ball. That will come back im sure but how many points will we continue to drop in the meantime?

I think due to the last 2 results - 2 points from 6, I cannot see us catching Barnet. The teams in and just outside the play offs have 1 or more games in hand on us. We are now under pressure to actually remain in the play offs. I feel that these 2 fortnight breaks has hit us the most because we had the best momentum over the other clubs. Now other clubs are gaining the momentum while we are having to find our feet again.

One this is for sure, DC is not happy and will not accept these performances which he has stated himself and I believe him too. He will keep going and trying to get the players where they were at xmas. But how long will it take for it to click again? We will soon find out. Easter getting injured so early on I feel would have dented some confidence within the dressing room. Hope its not a long lay off. But I bet it is.
