I think he'll be a top signing. Just what we need on that right hand side. Disappointing that Schurrle will probably be sacrificed but if you're not putting in the performances required then someone else is needed. Willian isn't amazing in the final third but a very useful player to have and I imagine his place in our starting XI will be the one taken by Cuadrado.
Cuadrado is a great signing, I think his work rate will endear him to the fans. The loss of Schurrle isn't ideal, but he hasn't been consistent and always seem to fail when given a chance to impress. With rumours of a Salah loan deal being involved for Cuadrado, Are we leaving ourselves short? If so I wouldn't mind Thorgan coming back to take Salah's place, although I doubt that is possible. Other rumour has seen us linked with Enner Valencia.
This is a great way to open the squad to a youngster. thorgan, izzy brown, boga and more should be competing. we have enough to cover especially with ramieres back
As well as signing Juan's we should be looking at signing a defender to bolster our back four - the reason for this is the current lack of rotation particularly at the back which is due mainly to the lack of quality cover on the bench hence Jose's reluctance to stick with the staus quo. This will lead to fatigue and ultimately more error-prone performances such as the one we witnessed at Tottenham.
was about to post the same. KDB has 11 assists of 17 games with 4 goals as well, that is before the game today against Munich. It was good to see Pep's side lose. He will be the one who got away. I was more disappointed that he left than Lukaku. Hope he doesn't make a Pogba (free hahahahaa) or even Matic.
Was never overly impressed with KDB as when he played against us prior to us signing him was all about reputation and not performance. He never had one really good game with us and was injury prone. In his defence he is young and some players do get better with age but for me the decision to sell was right.
Jose said there were no plans by Chelsea to use the January window. When he said that he had that slight note of contempt in his voice that seemed to me something would happen which he couldn't control. In this case I think it was World Cup winner Schurrle making ultimatums. Chelsea's transfer panel (apparently Jose has a say too) have tabs on players of all ages and positions ready for approach. The financial regulations give even more power to headline players and their agents over clubs as the team can not longer always call a player's bluff and get an equal or better player in when they could flex the budget. Chelsea have to have a hit list of affordable talent to mitigate that. I don't think Jose lied when he said no transfers were planned but he did know one was likely. We aren't getting rid of Schurrle if he goes. Like Lukaka he will be walking and you know that is their prerogative and you would probably do the same thing if it was your career.
jose is back as Chelsea manager. That means Chelsea no longer use a scouting network but wait to see which players are linked to United. Its exactly how it worked the first time around.
Well you think Willian is world class so I think we can all agree you know absolutely nothing about football. Nothing at all. Willian world class
