Did anyone just see the penalty awarded to Equatorial Guinea (the hosts) in the 92nd minute of a quarter-final they were losing 1-0. Possibly the single worst dive ever to get a penalty given. Farcical, two bob competition.
Yes, I read the report - sounds like a real riot resulted. The Afcon matches are not televised over here, and for whatever reason, even if they were, it would not hold much interest for me in watching.
To be fair you see those given in PL, Tunisia somehow managed to commit 41 fouls so maybe this contributed to the refs decision. I have watched most of the games, as I find it strangely therapeutic watching "international" players contributing to distinctly average matches without having to shout "what the f**k are you doing " every other Saturday!
