Wonder how much money Arsenal are giving Aresen's Coq, and if Coq signed it himself or someone used a pen....
Doesn't look like there will be anymore signings judging from Wengers latest comments. It's been a pretty good January though. 1.We signed a quality young centreback. 2.We also signed a 6'4 defensive midfielder. (still only 17 but looks a good signing nonetheless) In truth its better than I was expecting.
Metro and L'Equipe are reporting that we're preparing a bid for Hugo Lloris http://metro.co.uk/2015/01/29/arsen...eal-for-tottenham-goalie-hugo-lloris-5040827/
I think having signed a CB the urgent need for reinforcements has been dealt with. Defence was the one position we lacked proper depth but with Gabriel signing and bellerin showing he is ready to step up when needed we look pretty good in terms of options even if we have a couple of injuries. Also with the good form coquelin is displaying I think people are feeling a bit more relaxed about the DM issue. People seem happy to see how he gets on until the summer and then bring in a top DM. I've never really rated coquelin but he has been proving me wrong over the last handful of games where he really has been very good. Hopefully he continues to play like this as it would gve us a real platform for our creative players.
This transfer window feels oddly empty now that we've got all our business done early and our strength in depth is good for a change...
Twitter rumour that Napoli made a move to try and sign Coquelin today but Wenger ****ed them off insisting that Coquelin is close to signing a new contract
Decent window with the discovery of Coquelin. Need to get players fit now. What is wrong with Arsenal!?
