For the umpteenth time: Steve Bruce's Plan A = excellent Steve Bruce's Plan B = nonexistent We've failed to score in 11 of our last 15 games. ELEVEN. There's no room for sentiment in football.
Probably not sign anyone this window. After today I dont see what good a couple signings would be, the squad just looks completely out of sorts.
No passion no will to win no stomach for the fight no points they should be ashamed Newcastle were there for the taking.
I haven;t felt this down and negative about CIty since Dowie's first match in charge when he sent a right shower of **** out and we capitulated vs pompey
Just a shame that they didn't ****ing play like one. Good luck to those that plan on voting for a MOTM!
Don,t see how you can single out Dawson and Mcgregor, when we have a midfield that can't pass a ball, show no desire or commitment, and we have nothing upfront to threaten the opposition.
David Burns @bbcburnsy 1m1 minute ago Steve Bruce says it's down to Lennon and N'Doye if they want to join Hull but worried performances and position will put them off. #hcafc Terrific.
I agree however if you haven't scored in 11 of the last 15 games you also have to look at your midfielders, there's absolutely no cutting edge, at all! They're neither creating the chances for our strikers or looking like scoring themselves. That freekick from Huddlestone towards the end epitomises our midfield and there total lacking in the goal scoring department. The midfield is a total shambles. In those four games that Huddlestone was banned for we looked much more effective. Compare today's performance, with Huddlestone in, to the Everton game, with Huddleston out. We actually managed to win two of the games that he was banned for. With him in the side we look nowhere near good enough to win a game. For the first twenty minutes today we showed urgency and desire, after that the pace dropped off. Why?! I'm beginning to think that Huddlestone is key to that as he wants to play at a slow lumbering pace.
