What's changed so dramatically over the last 3 years? Personally, I reckon he'd make a good coach on the grounds that he was a very intelligent footballer with good technique. Two of the most important attributes that we should be looking to instill in players, particularly young players. He's also played at the very highest level so he has great experience and would command respect as a coach. I'd be interested to know why anyone would think Barmby wouldn't make a good coach? Just to add, Westella & Willerby are by far the best youth club in the region (U16's). They're practically a feeder club for the City youth team. So laughing off someone's involvement in the game on the grounds that all they've coached is Westella & Willerby is similar to laughing off anyone who's only coached City's youth, and claiming that they had no involvement in the game, which I think we can agree would be pretty stupid.
It used to be the other way round and Hull City were the feeder club for westella and willerby! Their team was filled with kids who'd beem dropped from City's youth setup. There were complaints that Nick was using his influence at City to snap them up for his team as they were released! Remember them beating my lads team 10-1 That was a low score by their standards. This was ten years ago mind so things might have changed.
Seems to have been like that for a long time, hasn't changed at all. Just double checked their record this season, played 9, won 9. scored 58, conceded 7.
This is certainly a good thing for Deano who's had a lot of issues I would like to find out if behind the scenes, he is advised to use the words 'Hull Tigers', 'The Tigers' as much as possible and try and not say 'Hull City' or 'City'. If this were the case I'd find it worrying as it implies a form on censorship
Really!!!! Sometimes it's probably best to say nothing, instead of making yourself look ridiculous AGAIN!!!!!
I didn't particularly want him to be appointed just yet, but good luck to him now he has. I hope his journey, as an ambassador, leads him to a pot of integrity, as he appears to have adopted the Allam culture of being thoroughly contemptible. PLT had it right, It would be nauseating, it would be dishonest and it would also be disloyal to the club and supporters he constantly claims to respect. These would not be the actions and values of an ambassador of any integrity, so let us hope he chooses the path of Hull City and not Hull Tigers, although the day to day nonsense he spouts does not look too good. Why should anyone be afraid of challenging his stance if he does do what PLT says is a nauseous idea? Will the ambassador become violent if folk don't like his approach - I can see red rags coming out of the drawers.
I think it's pretty obvious why that is. He said he wasn't interested in managing another club and unlike our dear leader, he isn't a complete lying ****, and he's stuck to his word.
Ooh, there's a thought. Who is my favourite person on the forum ???.... No that's an easy one, Happy Tiger, coz he's so HAPPY ! Wait ! Sorry Hat, i meant to say you obviously
