In this interview he says "It was great to see the Indian kids in Hull Tigers shirts...or Hulll City shirts.....whatever you want to call them." Dean, you are supposed to be the ambassador promoting your employer in India, make your ****ing mind up you buffoon
I would have gone for someone who can actually speak a sentence without saying "err". As great as Deano was in the shirt, he comes across as a right donut in that interview. I heard Ben Burgess on Look North the other night talking about being a teacher.....he came across really well.
It'll be good if it attracts the older generations too. East stand filling up with squaws and braves would be quite a sight.
Good for Deano and well played by the club. Considering Deano's well publicised issues this could well be what he needs to give himself new purpose. Some things are more important than a name. Deano, once a legend, always a legend.
He doesn't even know the name of the club. He lost the legend status the minute he drove from Hull to Leeds pissed (as reported in the Hull Daily Mail) Nicky Barmby would be a better ambassador for Hull City. He has done it on the International scene and can conduct himself better. No chance of that happening though.
Barmby will be useful on the coaching side of things if the Allams ever piss off. Deano would be an ideal candidate for an ambassador, apart from the whole turning his back Hull City thing.
Why would he. He's been out the game for 3 years, things move on. He's shown no interest in getting back into the game.
I don't if you saw it, but i questioned tom on this myself. He replied, but again, he made no sense to me.
Just so you know, you don't have to put a full stop next to your smileys anymore,Chazz. It's just i thought there was a speck of dirt on my screen and was trying to gently remove it with my fingernail
