Sky have just announced that they are going into the mobile
Phone market, they've done a deal with O2 to allow it to use
Their network.... You'll now be able to get a sky phone !!!!

I believe that talks are ongoing between O2 and the owners of the 3 network , Hutchinson Whampoa to take over O2 from the Spanish owners Telephonica SA.

O2. Worst network in the UK in my experience. Work make me use one. Often struggle for a signal. EE on the other hand rarely gives me the same crap as O2.

O2 are more bothered about making their adverts looking 'hip' and 'kewl' (intentionally spelt like that) than actually focusing on their phones.

    EE best by far.

Think it depends where you live to a great extent. On my bit of the south coast EE, Virgin and Three = crap. O2 much better. I have Tescomobile which uses the O2 network and is generally okay

02 are next to useless round here, you might as well have a paper cup and a piece of string.

It obviously depends a lot on where you are. I've been with 3 for ages, and only recently learnt that their network in Hull is a bit of a bodge job. I can usually get decent signal, but absolutely nothing in my bathroom for some reason.

I was on 02 about Oct 2007- August 2010 no real problems, Vodafone August 2010- October 2014 no problems and now back with 02 because Vodafone wouldn't match the o2 deal on a Note 4.

The only is I struggle for a 3g signal with whatever phone or network I've ever been on.

Sky were linked with taking over Vodafone before this was announced.
