Transfer Rumours Is Alex McCarthy on his way?

I keep seeing rumours that we are after goal keepers there usually is some truth in the fact we have been linked with around 6 or 7?

 

would about end my patience with the club if true

 

He is as good a keeper as I've seen in years and I would be fuming if he gets sold as part of some wheeling and dealing exercise.

Loan him if needed but he should be considered as number 1 for the next 10 years.

 

This has to be made-up bull..........

If this turns out to be true I really will despair for our future

 

TBH I am only speculating about McCarthy but it was mentioned a few weeks back that Everton wanted him and as I have already said we have been linked with several keepers the latest being Steve Mandanda French international, must say never heard of him.

 

I'm convinced he'll be our first choice keeper next year. Sadly, in the Championship

 

It does seem odd that we are linked to keepers. Maybe McCarthy is just fed up with being 2nd choice.
I have always thought that he could easily be our No1 right now, but Green has been very good this season and McCarthy looked dodgy against Sheffield Utd.

 

Mandanda have been rated among the top 10 keepers in the world for years. Reminds me of Cesar.

 

I never pretend to know much about football/players

 

Harry said McCarthy is a future England goalkeeper in one of his interviews. He's not leaving.

I was always puzzled why he came to us in the first place. He wanted to move from Reading as he wasn't first choice there but surely he realised that he would be behind Green at QPR and Green is in no hurry to hang up his gloves so I wont be surprised if he goes.
