Tough to pick a side and I will probably change my mind later. Subs will be P.Swan, Okocha, Whitehurst, Myhill, Jacobs, Jenkinson
Edited- got to put Barmby in with the subs!

No mentions for Swanny then, he was a crowd favourite for a while and could play both up top and the back, a good utility sub

Roo and I are of the same vintage who started watching in the late 40s. So we favour several of the same players from those two great teams of the 1948-53 and 1965-70 eras. I'd love to see the following out there at the top of their form.

    Billy Bly
Andy Davidson Turner Jobson Viggo Jensen
    Elmo Bill Harris Elliott
Ken Wagstaff Chris Chilton Raich Carter

Apologies for playing some of them out of position but they were all good enough and versatile enough to handle it.

If you take favourite to mean players you liked and enjoyed watching the most, rather than just their contribution to the club, I'd say:

    Myhill
    Rosenior Turner Chester Dawson
    Barmby Ashbee Okocha Elliot
    Windass Jelavic

That would probably be mine, though I'd somehow like to squeeze Whitmore and Price on there.

And Solano's mate has to be kit man.

    4. Ashbee, 7. Elliott. Those two numbers are non-negotiable.

No sign of Andy Payton anywhere yet either on these lists apart from mine, great finisher with 25 goals in a relegation season, higher level than the likes of Stuey Elliot?

How can you cite Chillo without citing Waggy (or Ian Butler)?
